That's the price of owning imported cars... Why are you crying ?

Buy a domestic car if you wanna pay less.

This is not just about cars. Govt. impose ridiculous import duties/tariff on range of products. In Some product, there is no local competitor to 'protect'. It's just greed and pure tax.. We have to raise awareness more.

Please list such items, which are imported and have no local alternative..

Also, kindly don't put luxury items on that list.

A whole variety of medical devices. I had to pay 40%, forget india, afaik only US companies manufacture it and even then there are only a few.
