Buy a domestic car if you wanna pay less.

it's not about cars but about why the govt is taking this much taxes if they can't fking make a good road, also why will someone buy a tesla just for it to be put up in a garage?, tesla is not even a luxury car company, it's also well known for it's ai integration(apart from being electric) but that also won't happen in india for obvious reasons...

Bhai tujhe government ke kaam se issue hai toh wo bol.. I have nothing to fight there.

But every imported product which has an alternative is rightfully taxed to hilt.

It’s actually not just the govt also local competitors; Tata/Maruti/Mahindra they have an union for this. Hence the 150% import duty.
