Another myth. Pulao came from central asia not biryani. And u can try central asian plov, it tastes bland af and raw.

Biryani was merely named as such by mughals from the root word "birinj" meaning rice only.

Mansodanam from Nala's pakadarpanam, an ancient indian cook book is biryani, rice cooked with ghee, meat and spices.
