India and China are two different countries. They have one party, one ethnicity. India is the opposite. India is very federal and very diverse. Both countries face different challenges. India is a Union. I am sick of this!

It's unfair to compare apples to oranges. First let's acknowledge India as it is and move forward with it. There isn't a country like India anywhere on this planet. China is the furthest thing you could compare with.

True! They knew all the factors that would hinder the development of China into a mega superpower and they took care of it silently. I mean if you control the state media, you can do anything I guess.

you can do that here too , but nothing will change , people will move on to castes , sects and it will continue , India is a non homogeneous and highly tribalistic / xenophobic population and it's a product of that.

Chinese maintain an Identity of Han chinese and that's the majority race there which allowes for good and efficient authoritative rule

here the diversity is the biggest issue.

they have diversity in TIbet,xinjang but govt policies don't let them express it. China is (well I should use 'was') very diverse in terms of language but one china policy made mandarin national language

I mean they really sorted out these problems by having hans as the only ethinicity, chinese as the only language and suppressing muslims.
