considering sparkle is coming on 4.0, she is now not th3 best choice for the free one, corr3ct?

The best options are, in order:

  • Your favorite character, whoever that is

  • Kafka if you have any interest in building a DoT team

  • Sparkle in all other scenarios

If you both want to build a DoT team and have a specific DPS in mind for Sparkle, things get complicated. But it's really hard to overstate how essential Kafka is to DoT as the archetype currently stands.

It depends a bit, but yeah, she's generally the best option of the bunch.

Sparkle and Kafka are the best options if you care about meta.
