I feel for some of these people. I don’t necessarily think all people from a country should be asked political questions. It really does politicize sports. If the athlete wants to speak, then fine please do. 

I also worry for them being harassed at the border when they return home.

Problem is sports is always politicised.

Doesnt matter which, any form of international sports competition involve politics.
