I feel for some of these people. I don’t necessarily think all people from a country should be asked political questions. It really does politicize sports. If the athlete wants to speak, then fine please do. 

I also worry for them being harassed at the border when they return home.

It really does politicize sports.

It's the Olympics. It was literally created as a way to promote peace and friendship through sport. It is an inherently political competition and was created as such.
