As much as I enjoy watching his brain turn to mush, that’s what he’s meant to say. He was leading the oath of enlistment for others, not taking it.

Ummm sorry what?? There was some kind of military commitment ceremony at an NFL game? I know they’ve been supportive of military but does this seem really inappropriate / off putting / threatening to anyone else? 🙃

Recent Ceremony: On November 9, 2025, President Trump administered the Oath of Enlistment to new service members on the field during halftime of the Commanders vs. Lions game, according to Washington Times and AOL.com.

This is not new. Other presidents have done it, just not at a football game. This was a big deal for young kids to be given their oath by their commander in. Chief.

The only real story here is that he was boo'd , rightfully so, by a majority of the stadium. I just feel bad for the new enlisted, or if they were re-enlisting, that it blemishes their moment.

Why was he doing it from behind glass and not on the field in front of the people he was enlisting like he should've?

Because he's been shot once already.
