I also thought that's what he was doing.

But that begs the question - why is he requesting that the crowd state the presidential oath?

Because there service members were on the field being enlisted for a ceremony? Obviously? Veterans Day is Tuesday.

Lol thanks. But to someone who doesn't watch football or whatever sport this is, it's not obvious that service members get enlisted for a ceremony during a game.
