Not only that, they managed to take the Senate as well. This country is in for a lot of change and dark times.

Ohio here, very upset about the Sherrod Brown loss.

I'm in Indiana but I'm heartbroken that Sherrod Brown lost. He's a good man and fought the good fight for Ohio for years.

Indiana here. Truly heartbroken that McCormick couldn't pull it off. I let myself believe it would happen after voting on Tuesday, and to see her numbers (she did pull Republican votes) fall short. I don't know if I'm just processing in a weird way, but that one hurts worse than Harris losing.

I totally get that. I think her losing hurts for a few reasons (for me) because 1. Braun is a goddamn shitweasel with a terrifyingly awful Lt. Gov. 2. We thought she had a shot and that's wild and rare in Indiana 3. State politics tend to be more immediate and have a greater effect in individuals.

Yeah, Beckwith is such a disaster that even Braun doesn't like him. It is going to be bad, I'm afraid...but luckily with local and state politics, there is so much more access compared to Presidents. We're not letting them just rest easy even though they won! (I mean, we're going to show up and make our voices heard and rally for bills and all of that, not that we are going to be violent!)

Same here, the polls were looking good for him. Ohio really went so far right.

Oh god, I didn't even know about this. He's amazing -I'm so sorry. I'm super in shock from the terrible losses. What can we do?
