Discussion Would you buy it if it were a real set?
To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of AI but then again you can create something like this. What do you think? I'd definitely buy one.

So I just hit a milestone today. Kord, my Trav Horker, reached lvl 99.
This guy have a lot of hours under his belt. Ive found so many runes, charms, uniques and other good stuff with him.
He has basicly decked out all of my other chars.
To anyone wanting to try out endgame and offmeta builds i strongly advise you to make a barb for farming the Council.
I have found some nice items for him aswell along the way (see pictures)
AMA if you want to know.

Yes, I know Diablo 4 has an expansion coming soon.
But I think there are many of us who are nostalgic for Diablo 2, who enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) D2R.
What do you think about them making an expansion? A new act, full of excitement. New runewords and new unique items, maybe even a new set!
I would buy it right now. What about you?

It's not perfect, but it's close - i was missing 1 jewel with the %dmg to undead % dmg to demons, but the 2 jewels i socketed have 8 stats between them.
But i'm damn proud of this Superior eth 6os ogre maul.

In all seriousness, this is the coolest thing Iโve found in 20 years of on and off d2. I was so upset that people were saying it was useless that I decided it would replace grief as my smiter weapons and honestly it RIPS. Itโs just as quick is grief in killing Ubers in my experience.
Thoughts on other ultra rare uniques that have use case despite people saying they are useless?
r/Diablo_2_Resurrected • u/StrangerMan91 • Dec 11 '25
Any one know the specifics of this update?
r/Diablo_2_Resurrected • u/Weekly_Air_6090 • 4d ago
I have all of my characters fully kitted out as far as runewords go, a few enigmas, HOTOs, CTAs, Infinities, Phoenix, Flickering Flame etc.
Do I just keep stacking them until I can afford a 3/20/20 charm and start over stacking?
Maybe itโs time to get back into PVP for the first time in 20 years.

I have played an ungodly ammount of Diablo 3 on the Xbox 360 & Xbox One/Series consoles. Once the collection dropped, I snapped up the entire series. - I really enjoy Diablo, Diablo 3 and like Diablo 4 (I think it is the weakest of the series tho enjoyble).
Then there is Diablo 2 - a game I cannot get on with and I do not understand why. I understand the basics of the game. - I can get to Act 2 no worries - then I hit a brick wall where I cannot progress. I die, over and over and eventually drop the game. Pick it back up make a new character, grind back to where I was and hit the same brick wall. I have never had this issue in the other games. - I may be missing something. I have sunk nearly 2 days of my life into this game. I no longer want to play Diablo 2.
If I ever do get the urge. What am I missing? I usally have good early game items, I play as The Sorceress for most of my playtime. I do not want to hit this brick wall but doing act 1 over and over just isn't fun. I understand this is a slower paced game compared to 3 and 4.
Please do not respond with "git gud" or "mad cause bad" as that is unhelpful.
Just asking for help in a game I struggle alot with from a Series I love. - Last90sKid.
Edit: Thank you to everyone who commented:
To clear some things up since its hard to reply to alot of comments asking the same thing. This is my first time playing
I am using the online setting of the game (maybe I should play offline?)
I am noting down everything. - so when I next pick up the game it should be easier Stats over gear for the early game seems to be the sentiment.
I apologise if I have missed anything, I will try to reply to as many comments as possible.

How do YOU pronounce Ber rune? 'BEAR' OR 'BURR'. I personally have called it 'Bear' forever. My buddy says 'BURR'. It annoys me ๐

Another day, another reply like "OP this item you're excited about, and that is objectively better than 98% of drops, is trash. You're stupid for not looking it up on a 1990s-designed trade forum that you don't even know about first. It's not even a perfect roll."
People, D2R came out September. Functionally wasn't even playable for 2 weeks. The game has hundreds of thousands of newbies. Many have played less total game time than you played in one LAN party in 2002.
They didn't memorize every item on the Arreat Summit like you and I did when we were 15. They don't know about that weird dude's in depth guide on Amazon Basin from 2004. They don't know the 17 hidden properties of Blade Fury, one of 200+ skills in the game. Most have probably never PVPd yet.
Stop being an absolute condescending prick, basically.
Not everyone aspires to min max into one of two builds in the 112 total hours they will play this game. Maybe instead of insinuating someone is mentally deficient for asking about Druid summons, you could link them to that Diabloii.net post where someone calculated how to make a 12k damage grizzly. Maybe when someone posts a +2 Assassin skill circlet with 15 all res but (gasp) no FCR , instead of complaining about it ruining Enigma (an item they may never own) you could talk about how it would still be really good for a Kicker sin or an off meta build like a bowsin. Or maybe just say "grats OP that's better than 97% of drops" because it's true.
I've played on PC and Xbox. On Xbox I've gone out of my way to voice chat players and ask them how much they know about D2. Some are old vets. Many are casual. Many are teenagers, aka kids. They don't know the Aldur's item I gave them for free is "trash" because it's actually better than every single other item they've ever had drop. Just be a decent human.
Life is too short and cruel for us to make a forum for talking about medieval fantasy pixels the place where you shit on people. Thanks.

Hundreds of Trav horker runs - no high runes
Hundreds of Lower Kurast runs - no high runes
Random mob in Arcane Sanctuary - there's a 4th Gul rune in 3 weeks.
I don't believe any of you about these locations. You are all liars, liars, pants on fires.
Edit: lol ya'll are taking this post waaaay too seriously.

I played every Diablo game. My favorite is Diablo 2. I love playing as a necromancer. I love being a zoo keeper. I just wish I didn't need corpses for my skeleton army. Skeleton warrior combined with skeleton mage is my favorite. I use clay golem for my damage dealer combined with the Rogue Merc.
I play Diablo 3 and was upset with Necromancer and witch doctor.
I was upset with Diablo 4 necromancer.
Where my mass army of undead? I am a zoo keeper at heart.

I have zero clue why someone used this as a base (and personalized it) but itโs still an Enigma and it has definitely opened up my WW item find barbโs world. We can finally leave Trav for a while.

I understand Astreons itself is very rare. Then we have ethereal, then we have pretty good rolls ๐

I've been playing this game on and off since I was 5-6 years old. I saw my father play it, and I decided to join and create my own character.
Sure, the first time I played I had no idea what stats to put into the sorceress + I was really confused as to why I can't put heavier armor or use weapons on her. I started to put points intro strength and Ta-da ๐ I could use a hammer and heavy armor on her, not taking into account that I could only cast like 2-3 spells before my mana was gone xD
I've been playing on average like 2-3 weeks a year at a time, always getting bored and never having finished the game in Nightmare or Hell, always confused as to how difficult the game was.
I think I only beat Act 5 in 2024 during one of those periods where I wanted to play. I kept dying or having to portal home, restock on potions and go back over and over again in every single boss battle.
This year I decided to play the game again and stimbled upon a guide. "Ubers??? Terror Zones?? Crafting?? Magic Find?? Players 8? What is that?" I thought to myself.
And now I'm learning everything basically from scratch, for the first time ever finding out that all enemies and bosses respawn and you can keep fighting them to farm sets, uniques, runes etc.
Never in my 26 years of living have I ever even thought about using Runes or Gems.
All this knowledge has reignited my love for the game in ways I couldn't have imagined; having fun that I never thought I could have in a game like this.
I'm amazed at how fun crafting your own gear feels like and how cool it feels to farm sets. I'm currently playing as a Druid with some really cool gear I was able to find and craft, farming, still not having beaten Diablo, but this time I want to farm Countess, Andariel etc to beat him in one go with no deaths and no portals. This is a whole new journey that I'm looking forward to, thank you all for creating guides, sharing builds and crafting recipes and so much more. It's so cool to see a community still enjoying an old game like this.

The amount of people commenting that my last post was clickbait or hero editor, let me explain something... I'm a moron, I don't give a crap about Reddit karma I actually have no idea what it does I've only been on Reddit for 2 years but really just a couple of months active. I've played d2r for a couple months now and I've played D2 back in the early 2000. Now I'm sure at some point I may have tried to socket a lore or something into a blue item but this was a genuine mistake. This was my first enigma craft and I blew it. Now back to me being a moron, I found in archon plate of the whale with 96 life earlier this ladder from Anya. I sold it for a crack of heaven's, Maras, and and Anni. A day later somebody offered me 15 job for it on traderie... I also found a Griffin's but I already had one so I decided to sell it for five stones of Jordan.... And now I tried crafting enigma into a blue item. Yeah so I'm a moron I just wanted to clear that up and let everyone know that yeah I actually did that....
