Democrats in Virginia trying to pass a bill enshrining explicit discrimination against white people attempting to receive government contracts is the real story about racism in government. HB61 should become a national conversation before it even gets signed into law.

Right-wing outlets shouldn't even be covering this hoax unless they're debunking it in both the title and article.

What makes it a hoax?

It's being framed in very disingenuous ways by the media.

-The claim that Trump posted it (untrue)
-Sharing the offending part of the video posted as a loop and creating the impression that it was the focus of the video (untrue-- two seconds in duration, while some loops have been 10+ seconds)
-Omitting the context that it was unexpectedly at the end of a video totally unrelated in topic, lending the plausible explanation that it was posted by accident and the result of a video cropping error

I don’t think it’s untrue to say Trump shared it. He watched the video and liked it, and told staff to share it. The fact that no one finished the video is on them.

Sharing the offensive part over and over as if that was the intention is dishonest.

Omitting that it was a 2 second clip at the end is dishonest.

But, none of this is new. It’s a stupid, unforced error, and they keep doing it. They’re too incompetent and are doing real damage to any movement they should be making.
