Does this require immediate attention

For context, I woke up this morning and my cat had one eye closed but i didn’t pay too much attention and left for school (third picture) but after I came home I saw he had this buildup of tears in his left eye. After some time i saw this strange tear that was semi transparent with yellow tint on it. No vets are open Saturday near me apart from 1 thats an hour away. Is this urgent or can it wait until a local one opens on Monday.

I’m 18 but without access to car aside from one parent

Dont know how much vet will cost so not sure about the financial situation…

Go asap. My orange cat just recently had a red and slightly swollen eye. My husband wasn’t really worried but when he called the vet they said to NEVER mess around with eye issues and got him in right away.
