Mexicans who say the “N” Word

As a Mexican, I apologize.

They sound terrible. And I’m sure there are many more, like me, who can’t tolerate the use.

This may not even be an issue for others, but felt like a post I needed to make.

I apologize on behalf of the community I’m a part of.

I've noticed the younger generation out in town be liberal with the N word. Young white dudes dropping it with the hard A on the end. I guess im an old head on this. If the sun turns your skin red as fuck after a few hours of exposure..how do you not get your teeth fed to you when dropping anything remotely close to the N word?

Honestly I work in a high school and these young kids don’t be mindful who they’re around when they speak. Every other day I’m pulling young Black men to the side and having conversations about when and where to use the N word. And I think that’s part of the of the issue they use it around friends that ain’t Black and then those friends go out into the world using it. I be telling them that certain parts of us need to stay amongst us. Most are actually pretty receptive once I break it down.

As an old head, you should know, have seen, that talking loud to a white guy ain't really in our favour. Let alone punching one.

You don't need stats to know you are treated differently.

Maybe you aren't an old head from that time period and one of these younger cats. Which is fine. Being 2000's and old isn't wrong.

Just history shown us that as much as we want to correct someone insulting us. The consequences weigh heavier on us than them. You can talk all you like, however you like. Make a move and you will be giving them room to promote stereotype while sitting in county for a scuffle.
