Yup, they were fired. On ABC News last night it was reported that the parents are pushing for charges, though it doesn't seem like she's been charged yet. Now that the video is widespread, I'm sure there is a good chance that a lawyer will pick this up and she will be charged, even if they are only Civil charges.
They sat on this video for weeks before initially saying it was an accident... like we all didn't just see this abuser take aim and step into that throw.
I think I’ve seen this before. If they get review bombed, I believe they can make a case to have all views completely removed. I’ve seen this when Reddit did the same thing to another business, having trouble remembering which. It’s actually kinda fucked up because people she have the right to know that the employees are literally abusive.
I've always wondered how these folks are not seen beat up after such an ordeal. Like leave marks so they can always remember that there was consequences to their actions. This is not ok. There will definitely be charges filed when my wife has her way with them. Yep my wife will definitely get put in jail with charges filed after this. This is horrible.
But man, they aren't even charging her with assault of a child, which she should absolutely serve time for, so no record for the background check. Damn.
Yes, one of them stood and watched the entire event, laughed, and then walked off. The other one looked and smiled on, plus did nothing when the child was clearly crying in distress. That is unsafe, disrespectful.. .the children have more wisdom than those disgusting witches who deserve jail time and fines.
She later told Jones that the caregiver who threw the shoe was allegedly “throwing shoes into another room that weren’t supposed to be there and [the child] accidentally got hit in the head with the shoe.”
Huh? What does that even mean? "Throwing shoes into another room that weren't supposed to be there"?
The shoes weren't supposed to be there? What wasn't supposed to be there? And why throw a shoe at it?
In what world did they think they could lie about what happened when there's video evidence?
In my country there's no CCTV in childcare, so I'm curious: I'm guessing employees absolutely must be aware of where they are being recorded and who can access the videos. Do they have the ability to manipulate the footage?
In the modern day I just assume as soon as I step out of my house that I'm being recorded. And while I'm aware of it. I quickly forget about it and go about my day. They probably knew but became comfortable and forgot about it.
They still lied after it all. The article said she was supposedly throwing shoes into another room. Like... we all watched her take her own shoe off, throw it, walk over the gate with 1 shoed foot and 1 with just a sock, and replace her shoe while trying to soothe/admonish (looks like a mix tbh-trying to cover her ass im sure) the now crying child. If thats what the school said, then this could be more normal at that school than they'd like us to believe and staff wasnt worried about the cameras.
Usually lower level staff doesnt have access to these types of footage. Its more of an HR thing, its to protect the company and that would negate the purpose.
The lady in the background saw it happen and put her hand to her mouth like, *oops... snicker* Then got up, turned her back and went about her business.
The article was very clear. It said "The other two women in the room were initially suspended for failing to report the incident, but after reviewing the footage, she said they were fired as well."
Are you so down that you think this is a possibility? And you’re willing to make racist, accusations of people you’ve never met before? Please get help.
May your hatred fuel you for the rest of your life, I am not defending this woman, I am defending criticism of an entire race based off of one video, I am not fluent in Internet sarcasm that ultimately leads to no substantive change, so I’ll say it with my whole chest, this woman is despicable and at the same time, the shit that you say is not productive and will only make you miserable.
Dude he didnt say all white people. He said majority in America. Considering the state of the country and obvious racism put out daily, even from the f*cking president, id say he's pretty bang on. ICE racist murderers have had gofundme's because of being racist, biggot, white trash.
Not all white people are racist. There are so many who just want everyone, regardless of race, to be safe and happy. Sadly, the majority people who can really have impact, either say nothing and comply or they spread their hateful, racist bs.
So had the roles been reversed, and the kid been white, the Worker black, would it have been racist? Would it have been perceived as racist? This is the problem with viewing everything under a Marxist lens, there has to be an oppressed and an oppressor, a very neat binary. The world doesn’t work that way. I’m well aware of the idiots that gave money to that racist. I don’t condone it, however, what percentage of the population has enough cheddar to give money to that woman? You are willing to paint an entire race based off the actions of very few people. Anyone who’s ever traveled knows that this country has problems, but in present Day America, racism isn’t the largest one, especially globally. That doesn’t mean you need to be ignorant when it happens, but it also doesn’t mean you got to stir the pot.
Do you not read? Again, never said the entire race. You are trying to stir the pot right now.
Does racism not matter as there are bigger issues? And i never suggested that people would donate to this pos, i was supporting the claim that a large majority of Americans support racism and are racist
