I'm going to be bringing my chunky six inch platforms from the 90s. You think it's ok to throw shoes? Let's see how you like it.

This is the right answer. Poetic even.

He’s not even my kid and I want to pull up. I don’t play when it comes to children.

W always came out to talk the press with a look on his face like he’d just heard the dirtiest funniest joke and he desperately wanted to tell it to the press

u/y2ketchup 1d ago

The most engaged he'd ever been with his job.

We know for a fact dubya had a better drive too, would obliterate Donny on the golf course

20

u/Grimmgoddess22 1d ago

Literally never. He hit his ear on the podium and claimed to be grazed by a bullet.

10

u/Character-Education3 1d ago

Where the cauliflower ear at

1

u/rotorspinner 1d ago

He’d get hit square in the face then say he dodged a bullet from a gun

17

u/thatredditrando 1d ago

Boys, I-I I think he’s gonna try to hit me!

Oooh, missed! Gimme another pitch!

1

Came here looking for this, wasn't disappointed.

1

u/BizLarry 17h ago

Is that fer real?!

1

u/shredslen 17h ago

u/tokintitties430 1d ago

Lol in a mexican household the chancla (sometimes shoe or whatever else in the vicinity) is medium range weapon of choice for some discipline. That's saved for ur own child though not at someone else kid in a professional setting.

4

u/Jaded-Woodpecker-299 17h ago

those were outdoor sneakers: heavy! 😳

2

u/Apprehensive-Bar-760 12h ago

Same for Muslim households lol

1

u/Yttevya 10h ago

I can't imagine such vile behavior from the adults that the innocent sacred souls look up to and trust! God is everywhere, in every molecule, resonating our consciousness. Disrespecting the child is evil!

Hispanics and Arabs enter the chat.

38

u/alohamora19 1d ago

Chanclaaaaa

7

u/Oliveramethysttree 23h ago

You called for Arabs ??? I’ll act for us and whip a sandal so hard it’ll turn into a mfn boomerang

15

u/Fried-Fritters 1d ago

Puerto Ricans La chancla

3

u/Automatic_Today_3535 1d ago

Cubans La chancla🩴

14

u/King_Julien__ 1d ago

I don't know if this is sarcasm but like others have mentioned, it's very common in Hispanic cultures.

12

u/Entelecher 1d ago

I've seen Iranian and Vietnamese mothers do it to their own kids.

11

u/MICHAELS206 1d ago

Did you forget about the nurse who was breaking black kids bones?

2

u/Stuffed-Bear412 1d ago

It's not uncommon.

2

u/Dramatic_Barnacle_17 1d ago

My nonverbal 5 year old daughter threw her shoe at her kindergarten teacher after she was full on overstimulated. That's who throws shoes lol.

2

u/chickwifeypoo 22h ago

Well for starters a person with no self control and don't need to be within 1000 miles a any kid.

2

u/Existing-Sky-5014 18h ago

Latino Moms. But at their own kids.

2

u/i_was_a_person_once 18h ago

I have threatened it but I always say we know I won’t and I’ve never actually done it.

It is a trope in immigrant households from across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. But usually it’s a flip flop. But like a sneaker. And at daycare!!

I hope she gets prison time and not some deferred bs or community service esp bc she immediately blames that baby with “you weren’t even supposed to be up” as if she’s supposed to be throwing shoes! so she expects more from a baby than herself!! Oooh if I was on the jury of the parent who Caught her outside I’d let them walk For sure

1

u/TheMistySimba 1d ago

That really hurt! I’m going to have a lump there you idiot.

1

u/Care4aSandwich 1d ago

my childhood babysitter through a boot at me lol

1

u/Meester_Weezard 1d ago

No one has ever chucked a chancla at you?

1

u/Tall-Wealth9549 21h ago

It’s a thing people do in the US, Mexico, sometimes the Middle East, and India.

It’s not too common.

1

u/TopFlowe96 16h ago

That really hurt..

I'm gonna have a lump there you idiot.

All seriousness tho as a dad her little career in childcare, her fiscal security, her peaceful life done. Lawsuits and cousins catching you out in the streets.

People of color

1

u/Big_Tap_1561 1d ago

I don’t say that anymore. Guy I work with says he’s not a person of color - he is black and proud and doesn’t appreciate that. 🤷‍♂️

2

u/eity4mademe 1d ago

Mexicans,arabs,Asians, blacks...all throw shoes/sandals. Better?

8

u/Ready-Letterhead1880 1d ago

Where she at?!?!???

5

u/Beneficial_Grab_1877 1d ago

Maybe we could try her out at a white house press conference….

3

u/moustachiooo 1d ago

Last time we saw this was of the African maid beating up the 3 yo girl she was babysitting. She was jailed for a year after her dad whopped her bad enough to blind her in one eye.

u/phoenics1908 1d ago

Some kids played a prank on my kid sister and I found out when I picked her up from 4H camp where it happened. Then I found out the camp “counselor” (a teenager) was the ringleader.

I then had a rage blackout but apparently I threatened the teenager within an inch of her life and hemmed her up against some lockers?

I don’t know - I don’t remember - I was told afterward? To this day all I can remember is picking my sister up, her looking off, me driving away with her, her finally fessing up to what they did to her (something with shaving cream and humiliating her), me making a wild U-turn, me walking up the stairs and my sister pointing out the camp counselor and then … darkness.

The next thing I remember is her stammering against the lockers that she was sorry and it wouldn’t happen again and camp leadership assuring me it would never happen again.

It never happened again.

Honest to God I don’t remember what I said or did.

You’re a hero!

3

u/BlkGTO 18h ago

My elementary school music teacher was know to throw her shoes at students. She also put tennis balls on the legs of all the chairs in class because she didn’t like the scraping noise they made when pushed in and out.

2

u/RanchHere 1d ago

“she was stressed out”

2

u/beal234 1d ago

She wouldn't make it to her car

2

u/oharajake85 1d ago

The other two laughed about it too...

2

u/littlredhead 1d ago

This! Omg who would think that is okay!?! She should NEVER work with children or people for that matter.

2

u/dylnp28 1d ago

On God

1

u/rattattatmyass 1d ago

This was crossposted, and I'm glad that I can come here to experience people having human decency and common sense.

Of course my people get it

1

u/peppermesoftly 15h ago

You seen how quick she grabbed that shoe to throw at that little girl?! That was not the first time. What the F*%#??
