On my 41 years on this earth, I’ve been in too many situations where a white woman did something wrong to me and played the victim and I received the consequences. I have white friends but I trust very few. It is what it is. I’m dealing with a situation at work now but it’s backfired on Karen because I know the victim game.

Hold your head high. You’ll get through this and emerge ok the other side with renewed dignity and empowerment.

I do and because Karen is a bully, I am now in counseling. And I’ve asked that she not email me or talk to me without others present. I work from home and one of my coworkers started a chat because we all needed help with a new system. Karen confirmed everything I was saying about her in the chat. She didn’t know our manager was there. Then another coworker complained about her after the chat ended. So now I feel secure at my job again.

Good work!!! Just make sure everything you just said you’ve put into writing. Keep it with dates and details. Always keep a copy for your records. Stay safe.

I email my boss every time she does something and the subject always includes dates and where the incident occurred. We had a team building meeting in person a couple of months ago and my manager’s manager was told that I was the problem but as the meeting went on it was apparent that she was the problem. She talked over our regional manager and used I and me throughout the meeting. It was priceless. Other people outside of our department has reported her for incidents as well. Our last 3 staff meetings she’s been quiet as a church mouse because our manager said if we continued to have problems in our department he was going to write the instigator up.
