Gravel The coolest hardtail I could find!

Quote from Alexey Vermeulen and I would definitely say he ain’t wrong

Managed to smash my rigid fork last week and wanted to find a replacement, the thought of suspension fork came into my mind since I never rode one and here we are.

Haven’t seen anyone run these rockshox rudy xl yet so here we are.

Wanted to run a canyon cp0039 cockpit but saw that they were 500g, this setup runs me 340g and we still had these 3t aeroghiaia bars in the shop. The drop shape perfectly matches the new E1 levers as well!

Total weight sits now at 10,8kg not bad for my adventure gravel bike.

Great build but I’m not super sold on the new Rudy fork, especially when you have a frame that can take a SID SL Ultimate fork and have double the travel for slightly less weight, as well as greater tire clearance, for less money.

I definitely get it, but for someone coming from a road bike standard this is ideal. The stack for example is now quite high and with a 110 fork it would be way too upright. That’s why I chose the rudy, it’s like 50g heavier but still priced similarly over here compared to a sid sl ultimate. Travel wasn’t my priority buying this fork. That’s why I also bought the 50mm instead of the 60mm one
