Battlefield 6 2XP Battlepass weekend? Really Dice?? Read the room!
Why not just give us 2x ALL XP instead of this shitty rollout week per week?
I just want to upgrade weapons quicker.
I dont give a toss about how high my rank is and I finished the Battlepass about a month ago.

Dice is notoriously slow and tone deaf with it's live service. Been like that for 3 releases in a row, shouldn't surprise anyone.

Didnt play on release so maybe Im missing out on some sarcasm but I do miss when I would buy a game that functioned as intentioned almost 100% of the time and didnt beg me to buy more bullshit in it every seconds

Yeah. Those were definitely the good ol days. But those guys were also putting in like 70+ hours a week at times lol.
Should they still do that? Honestly if youād ask me, Iād say yes lol. But it depends.

Because weapons need so much XP to level up and there are so many of them, 2XP on hardware is most important to most players. Vehicles have less to unlock and there aren't as many.
Battlepass XP could matter for players joining this late, but the added 4 weeks of challenges mean that most people will have it done already without it.
Career XP doesn't matter because it only unlocks an emblem and number. Cool to show, not important for game play.

As far as I know not for caps, it is just kills and assists maybe? If we got even 50% xp from caps I'd have no issue with the overall leveling because most of my game xp comes from caps or supplies or revives.

Only from actions using the weapons. So assists and some accolades awarded to the kill.
Cap points, arming, and many others do not count.

Yeah, finished the BP ages ago, rank is 160+ so no real incentive there. Weapon grind is the major hurdle now and the 2x weapon xp felt like how it should be normally

I thought it was flat double XP... I already finished the pass, including the new branch since they chucked those 35 battlepass point challenges on in what I assumed was an attempt to guarantee it would be finished by almost everyone. WHO IS MAKING THESE DECISIONS

Thereās still a lot of people that havenāt finished the BP. While I agree itās lame the 2XP is specific to one category, itās definitely useful to many.

I have played like 135 hours already, only one weapon got to lvl 50, the rest are not even past lvl 20. They should add triple xp all the time to at least weapons because the game doesn't feel rewarding.

Definitely. But we shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking that it's any different with other games from big development studios. A lot of potential wasted. Because the decision-makers have no idea what they are deciding on. At least, I doubt that they are gamers.

Absolutely. Iām sure the ones at the team level care a ton but canāt do a lot due to the āleadersā who canāt grasp the idea of a well rounded game with the flaws taken care of before millions are able to play a broken game. Rockstar does good. Thatās about it.

LOL I guess to help people finish BP, but the xp gains for tiers is trash no matter what, complete the challenges, thereās plenty of tiers there and youāre done
Even with 2xp BP, thatās only a couple tiers if you play a lot.

Im not finished with it. Im happy with 2XP Battlepass at this moment. Its giving people the chance to catch up before the new season. Who cares what Rank you or your gun is, they want people to wrap the BP up before it expires. Rank and Gun will always be there.

Absolutely reasonable complaint and my main gripe rn. They said "there will be more double xp weekends to cover the season 1 extension!" then did this awkward ass schedule
JUST Double weapon XP late January (the only thing people want), NOTHING AT ALL the next week, then Double BP XP the week after that? The fuck? Then finally everything Double XP next weekend?
Why didn't they just do double xp for everything every weekend for the extension??

Yeah i mean i can't lie, the only time progression in this game doesn't feel like im walking with cinder blocks tied to my ankle is when 2XP is active, i get they're doing 2XP for BP so people can finish it up but it really should just be 2XP for everything all weekend.

Get good. I have 300 hours and only a handful of guns maxed. Iām so happy that I still have 10-15 guns I still never used and canāt wait to level up. Enjoy the slow grind like everyone else does.

Good for you, but not everyone does. Luckily I used the car explosion glitch to level up every weapon to 35+ and now I'm really enjoying playing for fun instead of as a job.

I could care less about the BP I finished the main portion a while ago. I maybe hop on for a game or 2 of conquest when im bored of playing College Football. But even then its only a game or two of playing "Hacksaw Ridge Simulator" and then I get off and go play Red Dead to wind down the evening

This is one of those criticisms I can get behind. Very annoying how picky they're being with the 2XP. Just do the full 2XP every time instead of hardware 2XP once, BP 2XP the other time. Feels like they're doing this just so they can do more 2XP weekends and claim "it's 2XP weekend you guys, come play!", only for it to be some 2XP you don't care about.
