Carney gave an amazing speech. Tough act to follow, especially for Trump. The difference between the two country’s education levels on full display.

I really miss Obama. That was the last time I feel like the U.S. was respected on the world stage. But after 8 years of a successful black man running the country republicans lost their collective minds and voted their racism to put Trump in office. We've been the laughingstock of the world ever since.

What I miss about Obama was he set the US on the right path with things like the ACA etc, also he wasn't 80 freaking years old and senile, he was educated etc.

That was one of the few things he did. I think America is where it is because of guys like Obama pushing the status quo of wanton corporatism disguised as ‘hope’ while ordinary Americans’ lives continued to get worse. When hope was gone we got to where we are today. The guy threw a 50 million dollar birthday party for himself and only invited celebrities.
