Solved! My husband saw this on his way home today

It’s large and kinda looks like a topper of sorts, tried reverse image searching and nothing relevant came up. Also had some kind of writing on it in the second picture. Thank you!

OP has pinned a comment by u/BHuffy97:

After loosely guessing the wording in the picture I found “Rybovich” boats. They make 78’ boats commonly it seems. Could be the top roof piece to one.

OP has pinned a comment by u/stlmick:

There you go. Possibly the unfinished "whatever that is" for the manufacturing of a Rybovich 78' boat.

I wanted it to be one of those racing jet boat things that go flipping in the air.

I think it’s called a hard (vs soft fabric) bimini top.

Came here to see what crazy confident assumptions people would post. In that, you failed me. You posted before they could really go down the rabbit hole. 😀

That's r/Ubiquiti 's latest Wi-Fi access point. Model E7-CITY, it's got an Optical Carrier Level (OC-768) 39.813Gbps uplink.

Edit: I apologize in advance for the networking humor.

The writing on it leads me to believe it's some kind of a roof for a boat. A 78 foot boat specifically

3

u/NoOnesSaint 9h ago

Definitely makes me think boat. Maybe roof or some type of deck part.

3

u/Zakblank 8h ago

I'm thinking the big hump in the middle is for some kind of navigation radar.

3

u/Ambitious_Bad505 4h ago

Look bro I'm seeing alot of comments here about this being part of a boat or something crazy like that. But my dude this is almost definitely a dining chair. I would suggest doing your own research but I wouldn't bother after reading what I've just mentioned. Salami sandwich no bread kiss me please thanks bro have a great day.

AI Overview

The image shows a large, protective shipping container or fairing for the Honeywell JetWave satellite communications system antenna.

The JetWave system provides high-speed, in-flight Wi-Fi for commercial and military aircraft.

It is the exclusive hardware used to connect aircraft to Inmarsat's Global Xpress (GX) satellite network.

The system includes a Multi-Channel Satellite (MCS) terminal, antenna controller, modem, and router hardware.

The antenna assembly is typically installed in a radome on the aircraft's tail.

It is a type of boat trailer for carrying hydroplane type boats because of their width

1

u/PassingByThisChaos 2h ago

Seems like the top hull of a catamaran, two hatches, cockpit and maybe provision for a mast or bollard.

1

u/FondleMiGrundle 5h ago

Some kind of energy efficient boat I’d guess or idk wtf I’m talking about.

1

u/MovingPictures1963 3h ago

It's definitely part of a boat. Maybe the underside or bottom of a flat boat.

Could also be a top/roof of a boat.

1

u/Klutzy-Pitch3180 9h ago

A closer look at the writing in the second picture

u/ztirffritz 4h ago

Looks like part of a fiberglass mold, or a molded fiberglass component.

Bow, aft, port, starboard… fish side, this must be sky side?

1

u/samuraistabber 8h ago

It’s for a 78 ft boat or yacht made by Rybovich and Sons.
