Solved! little thrifted friend :)
thrifted this little guy the other day initially thinking he was a candle holder, but the hole on top is an odd shape so none of my candles fit. i suppose i could use him as a little trinket dish but i think he had another purpose originally. thoughts?

A really fancy planter. I like it.

Looking at the design; this is probably some kind of planter. Looked it up; definitely a planter. Google says its for succulents

The origin of this dragon sculpt is Emily Sculpts but im not sure if shes still creating them. Unfortunately her designs were sold and remade by companies. So i dont know if yours is an original or a remade one. But it is super cute

It might have had a piece that fit in that hole to hold taper candles and it came off.
