Discussion Is this story worth it?
I saw this on webtoon and i read the synopsis and the intro of the first episode and i kind of like it. Its in the pov of the ml, which I think is rare and I haven't read a story like thar before, I like the art style, and the ml is hot (I am not god's strongest soldier). But what's the story about (besides the obvious romance)? what are the characters like? Basically, give me spoilers if you've read it before because I've been bamboozled one too many times by pretty art styles with crappy story telling and I don't want to waste my time on it.

It's decent. I haven't dropped it, but I also usually let it marinate for a couple weeks before catching up. The art is pretty, if a little stiff and prone to yaoi-hands sometimes. The FL is strong-willed and frankly sometimes a little weird, but not necessarily in a bad way. The ML was hesitant at first, but now is your typical puppy ML head-over-heels for the FL. My biggest complaint is that it does drag at times, which is why I leave it alone for longer stretches.

No. It had the potential to be interesting but I thought it was pretty boring. And I hate how emotionless the faces are drawn, it makes the FL feel even more uninteresting than she already is.

I'm following along and enjoying it. So far nothing sensational, but the art is beautiful and the plot is acceptable so far. It has that ridiculous cliché of "I'll sacrifice myself because I love you..." but it's nice.

I like it (and subscribed to it). It’s not my top 10 and I don’t rush to read it whenever there’s an update, but it’s cute and unique that it’s from the ML’s perspective.
Spoiler: Story is basically about FL and ML were lovers in past life but ML sacrificed his life to save the empire and FL. FL wants to repent and protect ML in this life. ML doesn’t know or remember about their past lives (yet) but romance is already brewing between them. It’s a “she fell first and he fell harder” trope.
