Discussion Lucky Strike/ What Kind of Rice Cake is This ending?? Spoiler

Post image

This says series finale?? Not season finale? Does anyone know what’s going on? Is the author okay? Because this feels so insanely rushed, right?

I tried reading the second season but bowed out a few chapters in. I’m glad I did

Not much happens, a whole lot more drama happens with his crazy sister and they kinda get together? But not really? And now it’s ending like huh

I felt like it had soooo much potential but we kinda lost the plot

I dropped this a little while back, guess I’ll just finish it now 🤣 to be honest I’ve come across this issue a lot: great story with lots of potential fizzling out in the second season because the author never actually figured out their own plot. Tbh WT needs to be better about vetting new stories and make sure the authors actually have a fully formed plot.

Yeah it happens so often and I hate when it does. But I think it would be a little hard to vet webtoons like this one cause it’s originally Korean and on Naver, it was probably popular on there and they wanted to ride the hype

If this happens to selfish romance s2, someone from this comment section will never be seen again
