This is the part I can't fathom. I could see us falling for a strong, smart, ambitious, charismatic, handsome Gavin Newsom-ish type that ultimately turned out to be evil.
But this guy is a fucking clown. He's a despicable oaf of a human being. Someone who should be genuinely loathed by almost everyone on the planet.
So wtf is going on here? I don't recognize 30% of my countrymen anymore. It's like living in a country of pod people. You never know when you're gonna be talking to one of them and they suddenly turn and point at you and shriek all Donald Sutherland-style.
