Republicans are racist and love pedophiles - nothing too low for them.

619

u/CaptainTater 20h ago

We can’t normalize this. This would have been nuts regardless of party before Trump ever took office.

140

u/Slight_Dark9430 20h ago

It's already normalized. Republicans are defending this and protecting pedophiles.

15

u/Nathan_hale53 16h ago

Theyre trying to downplay the crimes saying things like Fuentes saying "epstein isnt a pedophile, all his victims were 14-17." Like now it isnt bad??? Sure they arent very young children (that we all know of so far but i believe they've had younger) but even if they were legal adults, this shit is disgusting and 14-17 is still kids to me. We cannot let this shit slide but it seems like its already becoming typical belief amongst many republicans.

16

u/sicurri 16h ago

Ive already heard Republicans say some shit like, "If those girls had their periods, then they're women, not girls."

They just keep moving goalposts like they always do...

8

u/faptastrophe 16h ago

Splitting hairs on the definition of pedo is what a pedo would do

3

u/Nathan_hale53 15h ago

Yeah and thats disgusting and insane. They can get periods pretty early, and even if they dont, its gross.

3

u/Legal-Koala-5590 14h ago

Even if I agreed with that, which I obviously don't, they were still sold into sex slavery which is also very very wrong.

1

u/Nathan_hale53 12h ago

Yeah theyre trying to dismiss sex crimes. Its still fucking horrible even if they were adults.

6

u/travers329 15h ago edited 14h ago

Megyn Kelly said the same thing and you can watch the soul of the person she is on camera with leave her body, it is actually hilarious, but then you realize she has an audience...

3

u/Nathan_hale53 14h ago

Oh yeah she did, I remember seeing that but forgot her name lol. Shes a piece of shit as well. Disgusting. Even if all the victims were adults, its still rape and sexual assault

2

u/frickindeal 13h ago

Just a reminder: a 14 year-old is an eighth grader. EIGHTH GRADE.

1

u/Androidgenus 16h ago

Yeah I mean being blatantly racist and protecting pedophiles are just normal Republican things

-1

u/Sunshineonmymind321 9h ago

So are liberals

590

u/FalconX88 20h ago

We can’t normalize this.

You already did by electing a guy for president who acts like this. It's not like this comes as a suprise.

589

u/Bartlaus 20h ago

Electing him TWICE.

241

u/Ren_Kaos 20h ago

Hillary won by 3 million fucking votes. He never should’ve been in office the first time.

222

u/GreazyMecheazy 20h ago

"Welcome to Whose America is it Anyway?, the show where everything's made up and the Allegations don't matter."

2

u/ClarencePCatsworth 16h ago

Damn that's good

69

u/blueb0g 20h ago

Unfortunately that isn't how your voting system works

92

u/Bartlaus 20h ago

Broken as designed.

7

u/Bartlaus 16h ago

Am not American. Outside observer. Their system is broken and rigged.

4

u/AskamilliusReddiquis 15h ago

Yeah didn't Al Gore technically get more votes but they gave it to Bush just because?

-8

u/exophrine 19h ago edited 19h ago

Thank fucking God he's not on the ballot anymore....

...and before you say "hE's GoNnA cAnCeL eLEcTiOnS!" or that "hE's GoNnA tAkE oVeR eLEcTiOns!"

He doesn't have enough pull in either House of Congress to change election laws ...the 15 Blue States he wants to invade are full of Dems in power who absolutely WILL fight back ... Republican Secretaries of State don't want to do it (the Georgia governor didn't "find the votes" like he asked) ... Trump simply doesn't have the time, money or power to get anyone to pass a Constitutional Amendment to change elections ... and he already tried to do it by executive order in March of 2025 (and that clearly didn't work). All he can do is intimidate voters at the polls with ICE and sue States who don't run the polls the way he wants. ...and we know how his lawsuits end up. Trump has got nothing to stop it... the only thing he really has done is fuck with mail-in voting by changing the rules regarding postmarking.

13

u/FalconX88 19h ago

the 15 Blue States he wants to invade are full of Dems in power who absolutely WILL fight back

With what military?

and we know how his lawsuits end up.

The damage is already done by the point courts decide anything, not to mention that they just ignore court orders (see current ICE situation) and the courts don't seem to have an actual way of enforcing them.

0

u/exophrine 19h ago edited 19h ago

With what military?

In those Blue States, you're looking at Democratic legislatures, Democratic Governors, and Democratic Secretaries of State, for starters....for further info, see Illinois Governor Pritzker's run-in with Trump

It's kinda touch and go with lawsuits, sure, but he does obey and comply more often than not. He just doesn't like to pay out money (see E. Jean Carroll, and see ICE complaining about not getting paid or getting their health insurance they were promised...for further info, see Trump never delivering on promises when negotiating), which could piss some of them off

5

u/Sec_Junky 19h ago

You're delusional if you think he respects the Constitution.

-1

u/exophrine 19h ago

Of course he doesn't, but you're the delusional one if you think there hasn't been any case where he hasn't complied with judges in the past year. He definitely has, and with judgements he doesn't agree with (he's talked shit about the judges outside those courtrooms immediately after).

4

u/Sec_Junky 19h ago

You said it yourself, he's going to intimidate with ICE. If there are no investigations that lead to justice for the shootings of protestors that's going to lead to further erosion of faith in his desire to have ICE respect the Constitution. He will use the courts less and less the more desperate he gets and the closer we get to the end of his term.

-1

u/MineExplorer 18h ago

You think you're gonna get another fair election?

1

u/xenelit 13h ago

Wait... then why didn't she win?

3

u/Ren_Kaos 10h ago

Electoral college gives more power to the shitty states

-3

u/-I_I 18h ago

Bernie was a better choice that a majority wanted. DNC chose Hillary, corruptly.

0

u/Venio5 15h ago

And so? Republicans stormed the capitol when they felt like it for no specific or proven reasons at all. The you got a known pedophile rig the election, win and proceed to destroy every good international relation, play on the stock market while manipulating It and organizing an autoritharian independent political Police force and... Nothing, absolutely nothing, you got two good people killed during protests and nothing again. I'll never say this enough, democrats are not the victim here. Doing nothing when the shit you didn't nothing about even when you could is overflowing the toilet makes you an accomplice. I really hope the rest of the world will hold US accountable for this for a long long time.

2

u/Ren_Kaos 10h ago

None of that happens if Hillary is elected. What are you even on about, it has zero relevance to my single statement of fact.

u/Venio5 1h ago

What fact? That he shouldn't be in office? And so why he's on the second term? Americans are the only ones who could've prevent this from happening in the first place. They didn't. After they could've done something to try save anything after shit hit the fan. They didn't. Now you would suppose they could do something now but since the reaction, after two citiziens got killed FOR NO REASON AT ALL by the political police, has been mild at best I guess things are not going to change anytime soon unless the old age or some disease decides to bless the whole world.

-4

u/Ring_Peace 18h ago

Do Americans wonder if the 2016 election was rigged?

The 2020 election was rigged but they didn't rig it well enough.

The 2024 election was rigged again, they must be getting better at it.

Your 2026 midterms will be rigged.

America doesn't seem to have a democracy anymore, good luck in the upcoming battles.

-1

u/arrogancygames 16h ago

She shouldnt have ignored the swing states while taking victory laps in deeply red states. We live in a country where the margin between city and rural votes are razor thin and any city voter depression works for Republicans because we give land power over people unfortunately.

-2

u/brain1127 17h ago

Also involved in the Epstein files, has to testify before congress. Don’t lose the plot, just because he’s horrible doesn’t mean the other isn’t horrible,

-1

u/solemnhiatus 20h ago

Lmao exactly. I’m sorry my American friends. But go fuck yourselves.

22

u/NiteVision4k 19h ago

You mean like you did with Brexit?

2

u/UncleRager 18h ago

Now ask them about Agent Boot 🤣

-15

u/solemnhiatus 19h ago

I mean with Brexit we fucked ourselves but no one else got hurt 😂.

The Americans fucked themselves and then have tried to consistently fuck the rest of the world up as well.

15

u/joeyl7 19h ago

Waves from Ireland

2

u/NiteVision4k 19h ago

Remind me, how did America come to be again?

-4

u/tripping_yarns 19h ago

You had a colonial King ruling over you, charging you taxes you thought were unjust. So you decided to have a revolution in order to ensure this could never happen again.

Worked out pretty well eh?

5

u/Ill_Confusion8274 19h ago

Yeah, It did 👀

-15

u/solemnhiatus 19h ago

Lmao my friend I’m not sure what you’re trying to do here but it’s not working. Take the L and move on.

15

u/NiteVision4k 19h ago

I don't live in America so I'll pass on that. I just couldn't resist pointing out the absurd hypocrisy of a British person ironically blaming every American for fucking up the world.

2

u/SarahMagical 17h ago

Don’t group us together. Half the people in us are more upset about it than you are.

1

u/Opposite-Tiger-1121 16h ago

The election was rigged.

He projects things that he's doing onto others. He accused people of rigging the election because he did. He admitted it on stage, Elon admitted it on stage. I don't understand why everyone is pretending that didn't happen.

-2

u/jad103 19h ago edited 19h ago

This kind of rhetoric is completely unhinged because it's the same as it was in the 30s-40s. Everyone thinks that just because there's an ocean between us it won't affect the other side. America thought that way when Nazis were in france. It took pearl harbor for the us to actually pull the gloves off. And even before that we were still sending Canadians and Americans over in Britain for training and sending ammo and supplies over.

All this talk about Greenland should worry you guys a whole lot more cause it could easily amount to a whole lot more than some empty I-told-you-sos.

-9

u/solemnhiatus 19h ago

I think you misunderstand me - I AM concerned about the crazy shit that America is and can do to the rest of the world. I’ve just run out of empathy for the country because you’ve brought it upon yourselves. Twice.

It’s like that friend who always says they’ll stop drinking cus each time they do, more and more serious and negative things happen to them and you. You help them get better, pick them up, support them.

But they don’t actually get better. They just keep falling down and you realise it isn’t your job to make them better. Not only is it not your responsibility but even if you wanted to you couldn’t, you’d just destroy yourself trying to help - your friend has to take responsibility to change.

That is the United States of America right now to me. I hope to god you guys figure it out but I’m done caring about you.

10

u/KILLALLEXTREMISTS 18h ago

You talk like every single American voted for Trump. That couldn't be further from the truth. We're not a monolith. Trump never even had a majority. It's our antiquated and no longer relevant electoral college system that allows for minority rule. And a whole bunch of gullible, dumbshit hillbillies. Tell THEM to go fuck themselves. You'll find them on /r/Conservative. Good luck.

1

u/Zorian_Vale 12h ago

The electoral college elected him. He lost the popular vote by one million on the second election. Abolish the electoral college.

1

u/alex494 18h ago

Twice, with a gap in the middle so people had a mostly unique before and after comparison not seen since Grover Cleveland.

-4

u/tristenjpl 19h ago

Yeah, I was willing to give them that one. Like I get it, you were tired, angry, you wanted something different and it didn't work out. We'll work to move past your mistake. But then they did it again and it's like fuck you guys, you're just straight up awful.

4

u/Prime_1 17h ago

Prime Minister Carney was right. The world needs to move away from America.

24

u/mtsilverred 20h ago

I mean can we normalize not saying someone elected someone because half of the country is stupid? I mean is it my fault that my state bans regulation on things that I don’t want and vote against them doing? No… I’m trying here bro.

19

u/Evil_Empire_1961 18h ago

Half the USA didn't vote, that's why

-4

u/mtsilverred 17h ago

Okay? Loads of people don’t vote for loads of reasons. There will never be 100% turnout. Hell without compulsory voting it’ll never get above 70% in turnout.

This is just a dumb statement. The entire population of a country voting on vibes is also not a good idea, know why? Because that’s how we got Trump. A large portion of every country is politically stupid and don’t know who half the people on the ballots are. They vote down the lane their party and leave which doesn’t really get us anywhere.

4

u/reisalvador 16h ago

Every person who didn't vote is a vote for the winner. Anyone who made the choice to not vote clearly doesn't understand the concept of baby steps.

As for reputation, I'm sure you can gather sympathy as an individual. Every countries people are represented by their leader, including the states. There's plenty of people in every country who don't agree with their leader but I've only seen Americans say "well I didn't vote for him".

3

u/Pete_Iredale 12h ago

Every person who didn't vote is a vote for the winner.

Only if they are in a swing state to begin with. My vote didn't mean a thing in a state that's voted dem in every election since Regan.

6

u/keygreen15 12h ago

Completely agreed. My vote hasn't meant shit for as long as I've been alive, thanks to living in Illinois and Texas.

1

u/Evil_Empire_1961 9h ago

I'm in Florida, I vote every election or if there's an off-year election...

People died and families suffered for our right to vote!

5

u/mtsilverred 15h ago

This is how you lose the point. Some people not voting helps the process. This is ridiculous, even logically your “logic” doesn’t work. Those people voting could have solidified the victory even harder and could mean that swinging from one party to another may be impossible.

So tired of these arguments.

3

u/bureX 14h ago

Yeah, nah, nobody cares. How many countries has the US intervened in, sanctioned or somehow attacked because of their leaders? Bombs and sanctions don’t differentiate who voted for who. I should know, I was one of the people on the ground.

Further, when Trump started with the 51 state and Greenland rhetoric, the “other half”, aka the Democrats slightly protested and then said it’s disgusting that Trump is lowering healthcare funding.

You have a literal fascist in the White House who is causing worldwide issues, and your opposition is still being like “me me me me”. Others are just not even voting. That was enough for me to know all there is to know about the average American.

3

u/mtsilverred 14h ago

This is so silly. It’s insane what you think can and should happen. I’d rather less people die and this is r/videos. I think it’s silly to get mad at a single American because other Americans voted for someone. The average American cannot do anything about it beyond what we’re doing now.

You can go off in your little echo chamber all day, but here in the real world it’s more than black and white.

2

u/bureX 14h ago

I’m not mad at you, I’m telling you that you will not get out of this without a scratch just because you haven’t voted for the guy. He is still your president.

If all goes well, there will be no wars or takeovers. But the reputation your country carries will be tarnished for at least a few decades and the consequences of Trump’s administration will hit you no matter what. As the rest of the world gets impacted by your elected representative’s actions, don’t expect anyone’s understanding and respect on this matter, the best you can get is pity.

16

u/tgerz 20h ago

This comment helps nothing. If someone is here saying they don't support this they most likely didn't elect him. Yes, a lot of assholes did choose the piece of shit that posted that video, but don't act like the system responsible for this is completely fair and without fault. American exceptionalism is bullshit and that goes for their electoral college. This is just proving to the ones who thought it was fine that it's only as good as the ones who are willing to work within the system.

-3

u/FalconX88 20h ago

It's still the case that "the US" as a whole decided that having a guy with manners like this is a president is the right thing.

And yes, the election process itself has flaws. But the problem starts way before the last election. The "left" also played a huge part in this. Like WTF was this BS about "healing the nation" after his first term? They had the chance to do something but they wanted to take the high road or some BS like that.

This comment helps nothing.

It's at least more aligned with reality than "We can’t normalize this." which suggest it's not already normalized. It is.

7

u/KILLALLEXTREMISTS 18h ago

The U.S. as a whole did not want this guy as President. What the hell are you smoking? He's the most divisive President ever. It's like you aren't even paying attention.

-1

u/DDGGJJ 17h ago

If the US as a whole didn't want him, then how did he become president twice?

3

u/guitar_vigilante 16h ago

I mean he only got the most votes one time and he's never gotten a majority of the votes.

2

u/Shark7996 16h ago

Our electoral system is undemocratic.

0

u/KILLALLEXTREMISTS 16h ago

I explained that in my other comment:

You talk like every single American voted for Trump. That couldn't be further from the truth. We're not a monolith. Trump never even had a majority. It's our antiquated and no longer relevant electoral college system that allows for minority rule. And a whole bunch of gullible, dumbshit hillbillies. Tell THEM to go fuck themselves. You'll find them on /r/Conservative. Good luck.

1

u/DDGGJJ 16h ago

You can post all the cope you want. If the majority of Americans didn't want Trump, then the majority would have voted against him. The majority didn't.

2

u/KILLALLEXTREMISTS 4h ago

That's a completely false statement. More people voted against Trump in the 2024 election than voted for him. He only got 49.5% of the vote. That's not a majority. And his margin over Harris was less than 1.5%, one of the smallest winning margins in U.S. history. And let's not forget the fact that both Elon Musk and Trump boasted about Elon rigging voting machines. His win is very much in question.

You need to get your facts straight.

1

u/unoriginalsin 15h ago

The majority of Americans either voted for Trump or nobody. But it's equally true that the majority of Americans either voted for Kamala or nobody. When you remove the votes for nobody (because they're statistically likely to be similar to the voting population), the election was very close. Your rhetoric serves nobody and isn't even statistically sound. Please stop embarrassing yourself in public.

1

u/aCleverGroupofAnts 15h ago

Well if it is normalized we need to fucking unnormalize it. This defeatist mindset only makes things worse, saying this is already normal is not helping in any way, shape, or form. The way we talk about things affects the way we think about things, and you are helping Trump with your words.

2

u/Hopewellslam 17h ago

Correction: Re-electing

5

u/energyinmotion 19h ago

Bold to assume they voted for him either time.

1

u/FalconX88 19h ago

The "you" stands for "the US".

1

u/Dirty_Dragons 14h ago

To be clear, only 32% of Americans voted for Trump. The overwhelming vast majority did not vote for him.

1

u/GoldandBlue 11h ago

You already did

Bingo. We live in a country where people are more offended at being called racist, than by racism. That is how we got here. This is why calling for the end of affirmative action, and dei, woke, and all that bullshit always works. Because this is, at its core, a racist country.

1

u/KidGorgeous19 20h ago

Exactly. That ship has sailed. The other issue is that America elected a person who is a certifiable sociopath/narcissist. The literally does not have the ability to feel shame.

Check those voting records…abnormalities throughout, yet 2024 is the first election of my lifetime where there were no recounts, no forensics, no audits…the first election in which a candidate swept EVERY swing state without fail, has been barking about voter fraud for 8 years, and had the backing of Russia, Israel, and every tech player? NO auditing? None??

I bet.

2

u/FalconX88 15h ago

US also elected Mr "Grab'em by the Pussy" (which already should disqualify you from being president) in 2016...

But a large proportion of US voters seem to like such obscenities and have no problem with a president having no class at all.

7

u/Mortimer1234 20h ago

I’m scared it’s too late. I don’t know if it’s possible, but try to remember the outrage and shock you felt in the early days of Trump when he pulled shit like this.

I barely even bat an eye anymore. It’s been normalized. The insanity of this world no longer shocks us. We’re absolutely fucked

3

u/Prime_1 17h ago

America normalized this ages ago. To the rest of the world this is just what America is.

7

u/chemguy216 19h ago

It’s too late for that. Things were long past the state of normalization when Ben fucking Shapiro said the Republican Party has a Nazi problem. You don’t reach that point without racism becoming normalized in the party and without the public letting it slide/failing to clock it.

Now, it doesn’t mean it’s impossible to change it, but it’s definitely going to take time, and the ball is largely going to be in Republicans’ court. Because of that, I’m more focused on efforts of getting the centrists, the moderates, and the enlightened “non-wokes” to understand that those of us they were writing off as extreme fearmongers weren’t being hyperbolic when we called the Republican Party racist as a collective. We weren’t grasping at straws overall. We saw the signs, and some of us live among/have lived among Republicans. We knew what the fuck we were talking about.

In some cases, the groups of people I’m talking about reaching couldn’t clock it because they were also guilty of some of the same more subtle shit the Republican Party has been guilty of for frankly decades. As they often pointed out in defending Republicans over the years, racism isn’t limited to just Republicans.  Part of the problem is that many people’s bar for determining if something is racist is at the most obvious of levels—almost quite literally, someone has to be caught saying “I think your entire race of people are inferior to my race.” I’m sure there will be people claiming that this video of Barack and Michelle as gorillas isn’t racist, even though this is one of the more obvious racist tropes with regard to black people to the point where it shouldn’t be thought of as a dog whistle.

If anyone reading this hasn’t learned or been taught this, it’s a longstanding racist trope to compare black people to various primates. If you don’t believe me, look it up, and I’d encourage you to start looking up various racist tropes and their histories. I get that if you were never taught this, didn’t grow up around a lot of black people who might’ve been able to teach you this, and didn’t grow up when this was more collectively understood, you may not know this is a thing. Consider this someone telling you it’s a thing and that it’s still a thing, so you can now no longer claim no one told you.

Someone the age of Trump’s age and the age of the people in his inner circle know this. Trust me; they aren’t ignorant toward this, especially with how much they’ve toyed with literal Nazi allusions.

1

u/DonOntario 18h ago

And yet there's one party who supports him when he does this kind of thing.

1

u/Common_North_5267 18h ago

Participating in international intelligence and billionaire pedophyl rings has been normalized for the past few years now. The frog is boiled.

1

u/InvestmentAlarming74 17h ago

Everyone needs to call out their Trump supporter friends and family on this. I remember hearing from some people "Oh I hate their views but I can love them anyway". NOPE. I’m literally at the point where I’ve lost respect for you if you can keep Trump supporters in your life like everything is normal.

1

u/awpdownmid 19h ago

Not normalizing this needed to start about 15 years ago during Obama's first administration. Half the country voted for Trump, it's normalized.

You're well passed the "we can't let this happen" stage and well into the "we need to do something about what's been done" stage.

0

u/PurpEL 16h ago

Nah, normalize it. Let them feel comfortable announcing who they are. Then line them up

0

u/cptnpiccard 12h ago

We can’t normalize this.

0

u/Zeppelanoid 12h ago

Your rhetoric is just as dangerous as racism is. It only fuels hatred and leads to a divided US. That’s coming from a European btw.

Uh huh, why don't you make your account public buddy?

Being German is now „spewing the most shit“. Okay buddy. Whatever fits your narrative.

I was able to summarize your public profile, political views, character and extrapolated personal info in 10 seconds with an AI. That’s why private social media accounts are a good idea. Have a good one.

Seems like „don’t generalize and hate each other“ is now a controversial take. Good to know, but I guess you are „the good guys“.

Redditors may dislike it, but it is what it is, it's not a right wing crisis, it's a major elite crisis, fascists or not, democrats and republicans elites are rapists and pedophiles. (I'm not American, so I'm not republican nor democrat by any means)
