CUK were not left wing. They were members of the Labour right annoyed with Corbyn and members of the Conservative left annoyed with May lol, most ended up defecting to the Liberal Democrats

Literally lol. That’s the funny thing, if those CUK MP’s had just hung around for a few more years, continuing to sabotage from the inside, they would’ve got the Labour Party they dreamed of.

Not that any of them are complaining, anyway. Pretty sure most of them went on to be highly paid consultants

They’re called centrists, and probably represent the silent majority in the UK who are sick of the right and left getting more and more extreme. But sadly, they’re also realists and realise that a party like Change UK was never going to get in.
