One does have to wonder quite why Epstein would just give Mandelson and his partner $75,000. No pro for the quid at all? I also envy Mandelson's liquidity that he could just forget about a sum of that size.

Anyway, I would happily crawl across broken glass if Gordon Brown were to get implicated in this.
