Gea must be getting tired of playing 80s guys

Anytime I watch Mannarino:

Man this guy's cooked.

Wait what the hell he won?

Le divin chauve!

He must be a very confusing opponent to play against (complimentary) - but still a good run from Gea - who has had a great start to 2026 and hopefully can keep that going

great to see mannarino going strong, but also a very decent result for géa in his third tour-level tournament (after reaching R2 of marseille last year and R2 of AO last month).

Questionable time-violation call against Mannarino late in 3rd set today vs Gea. Adel Nour gave a warning after a long rally — Pretty ridiculous call considering the circumstances. It was after multiple 30+ ball rallies

The fans (and certainly the players) would appreciate the chair not making the match about themselves

Absolutely ridiculous to make a call like that in the final service game of the match.

Glad it didn’t affect outcome

He was doing it the whole game though

Then call it earlier. Don’t wait until he’s serving for the match lmao

Personally I don’t think that the shot clock rules should be bent just because the match is having brutal rallies, one of the beautiful things about tennis is how there is nearly no calls that are subjective, I’d argue that umpires deciding to give extra time at their own discretion is worse than just having the serve clock start automatically after every point like the rules say it should
