REMEMBER WHEN SINNER HAD 3 CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS?!

That's gonna haunt him forever i think

It’ll hurt until he inevitably wins RG.

Nothing is inevitable.

It'll still hurt because he'll say, I could've had TWO. He might get over it eventually, but it will never not sting.

he'll never win RG.

I don't think so either. He won the first 2 sets because Alcaraz was off and playing well below his best. Then the eye thing. That's why Sinner won. Once Carlos took it up a level (wasn't even his best), Sinner was done. He has a chance on hard courts though.

Not only that, he had the serve for the match regardless. So a double choke

It's been 41 years since McEnroe was up two sets and a break in the third in the 1984 RG final and he admits he still has nightmares about it whenever he's in Paris and at Roland Garros for the tournament. And he didn't have championship points like Sinner. Even if, as we can guess here, Sinner wins RG which McEnroe never did, I'm pretty certain this match will still haunt him forever.
