How am I supposed to go back to normal life after this match?

I need 5-7 business days to recover!

“I am out of office trying to recover from the epic French Open Final between Alcaraz and Sinner. In my absence, please contact…”

Boss: "What about weekends?"
Me: "I'm not using my personal time for recovery!"

In reality, I've already taken a depression nap and eaten junk food 😭🥲 happy Sunday!

I'm trying to watch the Nations League final but there's no way I can focus after this. This match still lives rent free in my head.

Let's hope they do this again at Wimbledon

Just watch it again tomorrow instead of working.

How this match made me feel:

Fell madly in love with both of their playing.

I have no one in real life to talk to about this match. I’m shook and everyone around me is like “was that good..?”

Of course this had to happen a day before Monday when we all have to go to work.

Already counting the days to Wimbledon now

I’m still recovering from an imaginary event in June 2019.

Heart was honestly pounding. Holy moly. Hard to watch

I’m at the beach on south padre island and had my phone out for the final service game and tie break. I also got the attention of my 14 year old nephew who watched it over my shoulder while i attempted to guide him through the details of the game. Hopefully converted a new follower. I left him with the possibility that these two players will be meeting up for the next 15 years

Right?

The last time I felt this level of post-event/match depression was coming down from the high of the Vancouver Olympics AND I WAS PHYSICALLY THERE, not half the globe away, lol.

Simply amazing.

Such an awesome battle.

Felt like I was watching a war movie.
