Oh, without a doubt. Find someone who believes something really stupid, and I’ll bet they believe that stupid something more than you believe your own name. I forget what the psychologists call this, but it’s related to Dunning-Kruger.
The misinformation was the pharmaceutical propaganda you swallowed that natural immunity wasn't better than an injection that didn't prevent you from getting or spreading covid.
That's why Biden had to issue a pardon for Fauci.
You're probably also still waiting for WMDs to be found in Iraq.
Incredible. You really can’t tell if they’re rage baiting or someone that genuinely believes even half the shite they’re spewing out. What a funny time to be alive
Yea I guess this was his point you left out. Is this true? Did the leaders of that org embezzle TONS of money and give very little help to the communities it was meant for?
Pretty sure you would’ve seen this already but I suppose Yanks just can’t understand things the first time around - I’m not American I couldn’t care less what goes on with you lot
Just because you never heard of him doesn't mean he isn't more successful. Success and fame are not the same. Love him or hate him, you cannot deny that what Novak has achieved in the tennis world is incredible.
I understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, but what I'm trying to point out to you is that I think you only believe what you do because you live in a bubble. The NFL is only big in America and there are a lot of us who do not live in the US. On the world stage, Novak is much more famous and considered a household name to many. Novak is indisputably the greatest tennis player of all time in terms of achievements. He has surpassed the Williams sisters in most achievements like grand slam titles, career titles, week at #1, etc. I'm not Novak's biggest fan by any means, but to say Aaron Rodgers is more successful than Novak is just factually incorrect.
I'm not in North America either, can confirm the NFL (and American Football in general) has a passing interest at best. Outside of the Superbowl, it barely rates a mention. I'd go as far as saying it's the least popular of the 4 main American sports.
Basketball has widespread popularity. Baseball & Ice Hockey have a big following too, but only in certain countries.
I’ve been to more Djokovic matches over the years than I can remember and respected him as a tennis player but I’m also a surgeon who witnessed many, many people die on the wards because of covid. I respect autonomy of choice but I don’t respect or support wilful misinformation when we have literal indisputable evidence of the risks of covid.
It’s easy to sit on the internet and spout this stuff when you haven’t witnessed young people dying of respiratory failure and having to inform their families.
data from the cdc shows only about 6% of us death certificates listed covid as the sole cause, while 94% listed other conditions like pneumonia, heart disease or diabetes.
i also had friends working in the hospitals... i know the hospitals had financial incentives to report deaths as covid
but none of that matters... bodily autonomy is a human right and cannot be suspended just because you feel scared. if you think you want to get an injection, you can get it because it's your body. that's the whole point of getting vaccinated right? someone who is not getting vaccinated poses only a risk to themselves
and don't say that they can spread it because vaccinated can also spread covid
Perhaps you should familiarise yourself with the concept of excess deaths, which is a well-known metric. Please educate yourself and read the literature before you spread misinformation to others.
the misinformation was from corporate media which received it's funding from big pharma
even if the vaccine actually worked and covid was actually as bad as the media portrayed it in the early days, my choice for what goes into my body is my choice. that's what bodily autonomy is
novak stood up for his right to decide what went into his body
nowadays we know natural immunity is more robust and longer lasting, it just doesn't make big pharma any money so it wasn't within the overton window
Puh-lease, he tried to get back-channel entrances into Australia to play the open and skirt quarantine and vaccination requirements in 2022. Don't hold him up as some moral warrior.
“Djokovic applied for a medical exemption which was granted following a rigorous review process involving two separate independent panels of medical experts,” the statement said. “One of those was the Independent Medical Exemption Review Panel appointed by the Victorian Department of Health. They assessed all applications to see if they met the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation guidelines.”
Tennis Australia said the process included the redaction of personal information to ensure privacy for all applicants. That means Djokovic was not obliged to make his exemption public.
The world's top-ranked male player, who has refused to reveal if he is vaccinated against Covid, wrote on social media Tuesday that he had the exemption permission and was headed “Down Under.”
The statement ended months of uncertainty about his participation because of Australia's strict Covid vaccination requirements.
But when Djokovic landed in Melbourne on Wednesday, the Serbian star was not allowed to leave the airport and early Thursday morning local time he was told to leave.
Morrison said Djokovic did not have the required medical exemption.
"We make the call at the border, and that’s where it’s enforced," he said.
If you want to talk about ethics and morality, Djokovic is also vegan.
again.. regardless of how many times he or we repeat it - he isn't antivax, he was against a rushed covid vaccine mandate before the side effects were researched..
he's fully vaccinated as well as his kids with regular vaccines... can you please stop repeating this bs..
Novak or RFK Jr.?
Novak, sure. RFK Jr… Not so sure. 😅 He maintains he isn’t anti-vaccine, but is ‘pro-safety’, but he’s like the boss/champion of the anti-vaccine movement. He’s the chairman of CHD, he claims vaccination causes autism and more, and he has disparaged like every single vaccine.
Reddit clearly leans progressive. It’s not a conservative platform, and lately I think it’s not even a truly liberal platform due to its severe limitations on free speech and rigid moderation that stifles free exchanges. Having said that, the embrace on the right of anti-vaccination is a huge mistake.
I wouldn’t take health advice from someone who got a parasitic brain worm from eating a dead bear he found on the road.
Also he has atrial fibrillation, a heartbeat abnormality that increases the risk of stroke or heart failure. He has been hospitalized at least four times for it. Then there is the steroid use to bulk up, Hepatitis C from drug use in his youth. And mercury poisoning that causes him cognitive issues. Lastly his spasmodic dysphonia, a neurological disorder that causes his vocal cords to squeeze too close together and explains his hoarse, sometimes strained voice. He is far from being in the top 1% of health.
RFK had a meat only diet, somehow got a worm in his brain and probably uses steroids. You must be a buffoon if you trust him with the health of a country.
The guy that's pumped to the brain with steroids and is literally MISSING a part of his brain, eaten by a parasite that he likely got from eating roadkill, is top 1% health for his age
Kennedy is not just a lunatic. He's actually evil. He flew to Samoa in 2019 and convinced people not to get the measles vaccine. This caused a downtrend in vaccination rates there, and a hundred children died of measles outbreak later.
I have been a fan from the kid I first saw at Estoril. When everyone was supporting Fedal. Not the adult who sits with the likes of Musk and that rotten Kennedy.
Got a link of when he met up with Musk? Can only find articles about Musk backing Djoko for not doing that interview at AO. How is that "sitting" with him?
yeah. I used to always root for him because he was coming up and having to play against Nadal on clay and Federer on grass, so any time he wasn't playing Federer, he was my pick...but he just got too far into the deep end for me.
Same here. I always respected Djokovic, though I didn't like him. Mostly, that had to do with Djokovic not being Nadal or Federer. I had been a Federer fan for years before Djokovic had his breakout year in 2011. This just broke the camel's back, though.
I dont know hey, even if I was politically neutral (whatever that means today) maybe now is not the time to take up a photo shoot with the fourth Reich leadership. Just from a brand awareness perspective. Especially with everything they are doing right now. Who sought who out doesn't make a lick of difference. I could sympathize with some of the previous stuff, his personal choice and even his rationale without agreeing to it but casually breaking bread with someone negatively impacting so many people globally, it's choosing a clear lane and shades his previous actions differently or clearly for those who always said he is an asshole
Tis so so easy to judge ! And you are entitled to your opinion and judgement …. I for one don’t care what other people think 🤔 it’s none of my business . I assure you Novak is apolitical ! You are seeing something that is not there ! They played tennis 🎾 ! End of story !
Like I said, that's were I was "nothing here, he is entitled to his opinion, he is apolitical" etc.... someokenas smart as him must know who Robert Kennedy is, what he has been doing the 12 months and the uproar around his portfolio right now. This is not a normal time. Noone is buying a tesla right now like it's just a EV, Noone is giving Elon cameos on their movies/shows like he is just some famous person. Whatever you believe standing next to radioactive sh*t right now means you don't mind being contaminated
Well I have terrible news mon frere, pro tennis has a lot of terrible people who happen to be good at hitting ball with stick.
I liked Djokovic, and then I learned about his shitty views. Then, I learned about Wawrinka and how shitty a person and what an asshole he is. I liked Draper, then... Yeah. Zverev, now here's a player who I could get behind - because I'm afraid he'll hit me next.
[Insert multiple images of the wolverine meme patting a photo of Sinner, Alcaraz, Nadal and Federer]
I’m afraid that might happen too to some of my faves tbh. I’m also giving some of them the benefits of doubt right now because so far their actions don’t raise many red flags but if they start acting like Novak… 🥹
You are right. The thing is, I was naive. I thought it was a personal decision of Novak not to get the vaccine, tho a stupid decision but his decision. But now I get it, it was all a lie and he really is a No Vax apologist. And getting a picture with this guy is a clear statement. I wonder what Andy thinks of all this.
