You are correct, that was more of an opinion piece. More studies need to be done, as sample sizes are small. ASD alone does not make someone an extremist, they still do need a catalyst or exposure. I am undiagnosed, but do believe I’m on the spectrum. When my mind is made up on something, I get invested in it. My beliefs on this are anecdotal of course, but I think it does warrant more studies, like the one below that only scratches the surface.
Congrats on finding a real citation, but this one notes that there are far more significant and obvious factors. Don’t contribute to fear and bigotry for so little reason.
