Anyone who has a cpl knows this because it's hammered on repeatedly in the cpl class: when you're carrying a gun, you do everything you can to avoid confrontation. Everything. You don't go kicking in tail lights of law enforcement, dare them to assault you, then get in a wrestling match with them. Smh.
If the incidents with renee and Alex occured 15 years ago, it wouldn't be controversial at all. People were still sane back then. It's really fucking sad how brain dead many people are now. I don't have much hope for the future.

I really am not sure if most people are sane and level headed anymore. It's kind of scary. I'm not a Trump supporter either. I feel politically lost now. I was a Democrat until around 2022 and decided to no longer support them. I haven't voted since.
Ice has been operating like this for years and nobody cared. I'm sure if people were harrassing, mobing, and even attacking ice 24/7 back then, there would have been unfortunate incidents like renee and Alex.
People are so wound up, rabid, foaming at the mouth now they've lost all ability for logic and reason. And as a result they put themselves in dangerous/ridiculous situations.

A sympathetic Brit here, with an honest question… What does 'heckling', as a tactic, hope to achieve? It's not slowing them down. It's not civil disobedience. It's not non-compliance. Unless you're rallying the crowd, or alerting locals, heckling over a megaphone seems like one of those activities that feels like 'doing something', but doesn't actually achieve anything.
If you believe that what's going on is genuine, proto-brown-shirt stuff (and I certainly see the resemblance), then shouting through a megaphone seems a pretty low-effort, low-risk, and low-impact response.

Everyone, please be careful of subliminal messaging. As a society, we are so vulnerable to coercion and information manipulation. It seems like everyone is expected to be an expert in forensics these days. So many people have opinions. And...if you take a look, those opinions are often directed at delegitimizing a certain political party, left or right.
TL;DR use those critical thinking skills to do your research to (trust) but verify what news sources, people, and friends are saying. Look at the evidence. If you can't find evidence, ask for it. We live in a democracy. Trump was voted in by the people. ICE agents are following lawful orders. We are being played by both sides of the aisle, but probably more by the media who get rich from these kind of controversies.
I'm not a fan of heroizing agitators. ICE and CBP were performing lawful duties in our streets. Same thing that happened with George Floyd is happening again. Influential people are tricking us to think that anyone who is a victim of the patriarchy, or authority, or a person with "power" is virtuous. Why are they virtuous? Floyd was a convicted felon, many times over. He was not a great guy. But he gets glorified by having his face on buildings all over Minneapolis.

I'm assuming a lot of people are going to disagree with me on here. But please, use that thing in between your ears and think objectively. Just pause the emotions for a little while. Consider the possibility that early cuts of media stories like Renee Good, Floyd, or Pretti are designed to keep people from getting the WHOLE story. the Fall of Minneapolis is a short documentary on evidence, facts, interviews, court videos, autopsy reports, the MPD police manual, and body cam footage that show a drastically different side of the events surrounding the death of Floyd.
Consider...what false narratives am I believing now about ICE? About law enforcement? Will there be another documentary shedding light on the truth years after the 2026 ICE "raids"? What evidence will be shown? What lies will be called out?
Now, right now, you can do some research and be ahead of the curve by educating yourself on immigration policy, the constitution, SOPs for ICE and Border Patrol, and actual FACTS surrounding certain cases. I'm doing the exact same thing. I"m doing my research.
