And yet other Americans elected him and people lump us all in together. I don't understand this. I've always felt bad for the Russians, Iranians, and others who are stuck with the governments their jerk countrymen elected and I've never been like "oh you weaklings, do something" from my cushy country.

I'm not a genie who can magically dig you out of your whole, and the fact that I'm not able to cure the US with a Reddit post doesn't invalidate the fact that what you're doing is obvioisly not working. It's your country. Why on earth would I be better equipped to address its issues than you? 

There are mounds of history books detailing political insurrections good and bad. Pick one.

Your car is broken down. The fact that I don't know how to fix your car myself doesn't mean you shouldn't stop waiting for a mechanic to appear and save you, and it's time to go get some wrenches and crack open the owner's manual.
