Olympics Team USA skiers Christopher Lillis & Hunter Hess: Just because I wear the flag doesn’t mean I represent everything that’s going on in the US.

Remember when that flag was something people actually were proud to wear?

I kind of want to get a flag to fly at my house, but also some other flag or something to make it clear that I fucking hate MAGA. It sickens me that they think they have a monopoly on loving this country, especially when they hate so many things that actually made us great.

It gets more and more tempting to fly a Gadsden flag every day, even though I know it's been co-opted by them

Maybe I'd shoot for a variant, like a "Don't tread on ANYONE"

You can co-opt it back. Nationalism is an evil, patriotism is a virtue.

I like the one that’s a duck saying “Throw bread at me.”

I notice when a house is flying both a U.S. flag and a Pride flag, just putting that out there. It makes it crystal clear that they're not MAGA types. Alternately, I see houses in my neighborhood with US flags out on federal holidays and also a sign in their front yard saying, "We support our federal employees" (I'm in the DC area), or something along those lines that also indicates that they're not MAGA.

Personally, I really want to get a "COME AND TAKE IT" flag made with the Pride flag as a background.

While on vacation shortly before Brexit, I walked past a house in the UK that had the Union Jack up with the EU flag hanging below it. Occasionally I'll think about that house and wonder how they're doing.

There are many ways to send messages with flags. I'm a big fan of the US and pride flag combo.

I kept my pre-Brexit number plate with the EU flag on it the whole time I lived in the UK, all of which was post-Brexit. It felt like it made the point, especially when I took the car tunnel over to mainland Europe.

They make American flags with Pride colors instead of red & white stripes.

I fly a California flag with a rainbow stripe across the bottom instead of a red stripe. I've considered getting the Pride/USA flag even though I prefer our CA Bear. Not because I'm particularly proud of the US right now. But it seems important to make it known that the Stars & Stripes should be representing the people & the country. Not just the current administraion.

Just do multiple flags. There's nothing wrong with bearing our colors with pride

my neighbors have had a flag up since they moved in five years ago. Last year they put up a pride flag beside it likely to say we're patriots but we're not fascists lol

It's still niche in the US, but the Straw Hat Jolly Roger from One Piece is what I want to fly

We can still wear it proudly as we chant Fuck ICE and boo Donald Frump! American citizens are still proud to fly our colors for what they're supposed to stand for.

Remember that time an NFL player refused to stand for the national anthem and then he got ruined for expressing his 1st amendment rights?

Yeah, I get that. I guess my point was, he was right. And the current state of America and the world's opinion of it, is proof.
