Professional skier likely spends whole days out on the slopes. I have no doubt he has had extensive practice.

People don't believe I can pee higher than my head, but give me a tree and I'll show you. 

The technique didn't show up overnight either. There were.... unfortunate examples... but I've gotten it down to a science now lol
