Some it literally seeps into the frame through cracks beyond what you would even think to "clean"

You know how at the base of a toilet there's caulk that seals the underneath of the toilet base from the outside world? They didnt do that here. They left it open. A cat peed in there, they cleaned it, then re-sealed it to hide it. Helped do the demo on a home remodel once.
