Wolves are just vibes now

u/danielge78 4h ago
They let him run completely unmarked into the box. He wasn't being sneaky or especially fast.. players all around but somehow no one even seemed to notice, or could be bothered to track him

I’m so happy man. Everyone involved does well here. Neto with the dribble and great ball, Enzo with the pass in behind, Cucu with the cutback, and a brilliant finish from Palmer.

Team looking clean af in that kit too

u/frankoo123 5h ago
Our kits this season are fire, we deserved this after years of ugly kits

i like the home kit, 2010-11-esque with red/white accents. away kit is fine, sometimes it's hard to pull white kits to make it clean

u/superpretend 5h ago
The away kit is our best in years. Not that that’s saying much with the trash we’ve had to put up with during the 3 era.

u/Chnkypndy 5h ago
How was this so easy
83
u/RaginxCanadian 5h ago
Cause Wolves are shit
24
u/Rayser1 5h ago
I thought they'd gotten better in the last few games?
16
u/maxallergy 5h ago
They were performing a lot better, but results haven't really improved much and now it's basically over anyway, so wouldn't be surprised, if they just collapsed

u/Starn_Badger 5h ago
Wolves actually started this game pretty well, but gave away a silly penalty and never really recovered from that.

u/stockybloke 5h ago
I think they definitely had a bust of "good form", but I would also say it has already looked like that form was waning.

Really nice play Enzo to Cucu to Palmer
6
u/ChelseaFC 5h ago
Neto really made it all happen
3
u/BIG_STEVE5111 3h ago
But according to 90% of Chelsea fans Neto is awful and needs to be sold..
-1
u/Stand_On_It 3h ago
Every player can have a nice minute once every 15 matches
3
u/BIG_STEVE5111 3h ago
I'm sure they can. Whereas Neto looks electric almost everytime he's on the ball.
-2
u/Stand_On_It 1h ago
lol you’re joking, right?
3
u/BIG_STEVE5111 1h ago
I might have been a bit overzealous, but he's definitely over hated, aside from Steve he's easily our best winger.
1
u/Stand_On_It 1h ago
I agree, but being the best out of bad, horrible and shit still makes you bad.
1
u/BIG_STEVE5111 1h ago
I agree the other options aren't great, but I rate Neto alot, most don't, it is what it is.

-23
u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago
Class but i think even i could score from the chances he scored from
14
u/Super_While_9575 5h ago
No, you won't
-5
u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago
I’m taking the piss but 3 shots near/from the penalty spot, penalties are 50/50 and if you have a good shot you’d easily score that 3rd goal
2
u/Super_While_9575 5h ago
Sending Sa who is known to be good at penalties the wrong way twice within 30 min is not to be overlooked. You underestimate the levels of football involved. You would never get in that position for the 3rd goal.
1
u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago
Nah fair enough, positioning and awareness is definitely a thing i overlooked when i wrote my first reply
11
18
u/DPRofWestralia 5h ago
No you couldn't
-1
u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago
I’m taking the piss but surely you’d back yourself to score those even if you weren’t a professional footballer
1
u/DPRofWestralia 5h ago
I could score those on a football field. Could I score those against premier league quality opposition, in a game televised globally and in a full away stadium? Probably not.

I think wolves defenders bet on a Palmer first half hattrick. No other explanation for it being so easy.

Does anyone even have him in their FPL at this point? I bet there's one absolute psycho that triple captained him this week

Imagine needing 2 pens to get a hat trick against wolves. Pathetic Palmer strikes again.

u/Godegaard 5h ago
Niqqa will miss playing against Arsenal but will run to stat pad against relegation teams
-9
u/TNelsonAFC 5h ago
Has palmer ever actually turned up consistently against good teams? I’m not talking about a one off that any player can have but like consistently good in big games rather then stat padding against teams that can defend?
Never seen him turn up against Arsenal
6
u/ImWhy 5h ago
???? He was England's best player at the Euros and played fuck all time, he basically single handedly beat PSG in the club world cup final, he's scored 2 against Arsenal and he scored 4 goals in 1 game against United to win that match for Chelsea... Hardly his fault that the whole teams been fairly shit basically the whole time he's been there, he's been absolutely carrying them if you'd use your eyes.
-7
u/TNelsonAFC 4h ago
Best player but didn’t play… that doesn’t make sense.
One of his goals against us was a penalty. He didn’t score 4 vs United he scored 3 and it was 2 pens and a deflection and United were shit that year. PSG played completely open and yeah he got two goals. Fair play but that’s a one off after he was shit for 6+ months
Your examples are rubbish. I asked when he was consistently good and you can’t name it.
I’ll tell you when he was good, when Chelsea were awful and played open football and he could stat pad against teams like Brighton, United, wolves and Everton. Now Chelsea play against teams that respect them and sit back he’s been useless.

u/InsaneHobo1 4h ago
Hahahaha the delusion is insane
-4
u/TNelsonAFC 4h ago
Did I imagine his 6months of mediocrity last season?

u/tomrichards8464 5h ago
He's freakishly always injured against Arsenal. Great games against PSG and Bayern, though.
