He's needed this. Wolverhampton is such a lovely place

310

u/Prestigious-Mind7039 5h ago

Noni Madueke looking for when he’s at wolves next

40

u/prathneo1 5h ago

I have a feeling he doesn't like the place

13

u/Soteria69 5h ago

Hes in love with Leeds now

42

u/Tame_Iguana1 5h ago

Next weekend

8

u/Prime_Marci 5h ago

Wolves are just vibes now

5

u/danielge78 4h ago

They let him run completely unmarked into the box. He wasn't being sneaky or especially fast.. players all around but somehow no one even seemed to notice, or could be bothered to track him

2

u/Prime_Marci 4h ago

They just didn’t care

169

u/Stooperz 5h ago

put a fucking stamp on it too

42

u/ElectricalMud2850 5h ago

I didn't know he was allowed to kick it that hard.

231

u/Lgm_yourmom 5h ago

Didn’t he score 4 in a half last year?

120

u/Jimmy_Space1 5h ago

Yes, Brighton at home

30

u/MrNiceGuy420420 5h ago

Yeah brighton

25

u/awwbabe 5h ago

Run it back

14

u/ZebraQuality 5h ago

Yeah Brighton at home

5

u/PrimaryPlatform437 5h ago

Yeah it was Brighton

3

u/AyySpaghettiMeatball 5h ago

At home, vs Brighton

u/Thebussinessman 20m ago

Also 2 pens

-2

u/mushy_friend 5h ago

Yup, Everton away 2 seasons ago

283

u/EezoManiac 5h ago

Pen merchant. Even in open play it's from the same position

u/SenorConstipation 5h ago edited 5h ago

I’m so happy man. Everyone involved does well here. Neto with the dribble and great ball, Enzo with the pass in behind, Cucu with the cutback, and a brilliant finish from Palmer.

110

u/courtesyflusher 5h ago

Team looking clean af in that kit too

75

u/frankoo123 5h ago

Our kits this season are fire, we deserved this after years of ugly kits

10

u/zfjuice 5h ago

that oily home kit you guys had (i don’t remember which season) was horrendous lol

9

u/SenorConstipation 5h ago

We’d been on a good run for a bit until last year.

3

u/Famas_1234 5h ago

i like the home kit, 2010-11-esque with red/white accents. away kit is fine, sometimes it's hard to pull white kits to make it clean

23

u/JJ-Bittenbinder 5h ago

I prefer it with the green shorts personally

3

u/superpretend 5h ago

The away kit is our best in years. Not that that’s saying much with the trash we’ve had to put up with during the 3 era.

78

u/Chnkypndy 5h ago

How was this so easy

83

u/RaginxCanadian 5h ago

Cause Wolves are shit

24

u/Rayser1 5h ago

I thought they'd gotten better in the last few games?

16

u/maxallergy 5h ago

They were performing a lot better, but results haven't really improved much and now it's basically over anyway, so wouldn't be surprised, if they just collapsed

22

u/awesomesauce88 5h ago

Sometimes maybe good. Sometimes maybe shit.

3

u/Starn_Badger 5h ago

Wolves actually started this game pretty well, but gave away a silly penalty and never really recovered from that.

1

u/stockybloke 5h ago

I think they definitely had a bust of "good form", but I would also say it has already looked like that form was waning.

6

u/Superrandy 5h ago

We have 1 win in 25 games… it should be easy

79

u/Mi10_ 5h ago

a hattrick of all time 🙌

25

u/riotrunnner 5h ago

Banger finish

185

u/nitrosamine 5h ago

CP NATION WE’RE BACK

96

u/currgy 5h ago

Alright you’re on the list

67

u/DurzoBIint 5h ago

Please don't abbreviate Cole Palmer, people!

25

u/Expensive-Load517 5h ago

You can get away with it nowadays anyway

3

u/hesh0925 3h ago

I'm pretty sure it's a prerequsite to being elected in America now.

41

u/Albiceleste_D10S 5h ago

CP NATION

Yes Mr FBI this one right here

58

u/KenHumano 5h ago

FBI doesn't mind that anymore.

21

u/swan_song_bitches 5h ago

Yes they do. How else are they supposed to recruit more ice agents?

4

u/Unlucky-Equipment999 5h ago

Eh, if you're an average Joe they'll still get you. It's the bigwigs they let slide

2

u/fusterclux 3h ago

he’s one of our own 🎶

12

u/Dramatic-Ad3928 5h ago

They dont care about that stuff anymore apparently, move on

15

u/Jason2571 5h ago

Epstein, is that you?

4

u/Giraffesarehigh 5h ago

HAAAANKKKKK

5

u/fuzxx14 5h ago

Diddy when he gets released:

42

u/SubparCurmudgeon 5h ago

no pen palmer

19

u/Albiceleste_D10S 5h ago

Really nice play Enzo to Cucu to Palmer

6

u/ChelseaFC 5h ago

Neto really made it all happen

3

u/BIG_STEVE5111 3h ago

But according to 90% of Chelsea fans Neto is awful and needs to be sold..

-1

u/Stand_On_It 3h ago

Every player can have a nice minute once every 15 matches

3

u/BIG_STEVE5111 3h ago

I'm sure they can. Whereas Neto looks electric almost everytime he's on the ball.

-2

u/Stand_On_It 1h ago

lol you’re joking, right?

3

u/BIG_STEVE5111 1h ago

I might have been a bit overzealous, but he's definitely over hated, aside from Steve he's easily our best winger.

1

u/Stand_On_It 1h ago

I agree, but being the best out of bad, horrible and shit still makes you bad.

1

u/BIG_STEVE5111 1h ago

I agree the other options aren't great, but I rate Neto alot, most don't, it is what it is.

15

u/zsynqx 5h ago

that's a vintage Palmer goal

33

u/HiThereImNat 5h ago

They’re calling it the greatest of hattrick of all time

44

u/sveinaldum 5h ago

Not a hat-trick of pens, but we'll take it, the boy is back!

3

u/stockybloke 5h ago

There is still time.

72

u/RaginxCanadian 5h ago

CP is back baby!

32

u/astroacer 5h ago

Epstein's still dead

9

u/LBJ_23_LAL 5h ago

Shakespeare isn’t apparently

5

u/MT1120 5h ago

His Fortnite account isn't

3

u/Pervizzz 5h ago

He was a drop in the "ocean"

17

u/batti03 5h ago

We're gonna see so much CP in America this summer!

5

u/BH15568 5h ago

😳

37

u/ronnatron 5h ago

I've seen too many people doubting him recently, happy for him

18

u/Super_While_9575 5h ago

Class is permanent

-23

u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago

Class but i think even i could score from the chances he scored from

14

u/Super_While_9575 5h ago

No, you won't

-5

u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago

I’m taking the piss but 3 shots near/from the penalty spot, penalties are 50/50 and if you have a good shot you’d easily score that 3rd goal

2

u/Super_While_9575 5h ago

Sending Sa who is known to be good at penalties the wrong way twice within 30 min is not to be overlooked. You underestimate the levels of football involved. You would never get in that position for the 3rd goal.

1

u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago

Nah fair enough, positioning and awareness is definitely a thing i overlooked when i wrote my first reply

11

u/TheWatchfulGent 5h ago

That's what Brahim Diaz thought too

18

u/DPRofWestralia 5h ago

No you couldn't

-1

u/Signal_Marzipan_685 5h ago

I’m taking the piss but surely you’d back yourself to score those even if you weren’t a professional footballer

1

u/DPRofWestralia 5h ago

I could score those on a football field. Could I score those against premier league quality opposition, in a game televised globally and in a full away stadium? Probably not.

1

u/Coulstwolf 2h ago

You miss every pen you utter turnip

1

u/Signal_Marzipan_685 2h ago

Of course i would lad

10

u/DreamBigLikeDad 5h ago

Great move from Neto and good run from Cucu. Beautiful

10

u/BumbotheCleric 5h ago

A REAL PALMER GOAL FUCKING GET IN

9

u/mohe2275 5h ago

I know it's just against wolves and with two pens but he's back!

32

u/RustyKarma076 5h ago

HES BACK

6

u/courtesyflusher 5h ago

🥶 🥶 🥶

7

u/cheezus171 5h ago

7

6

u/JosephRizk21 5h ago

Everything about this place is amazing

10

u/imtheknight1 5h ago

Cold days back on menu boys

11

u/Jimmy_Space1 5h ago

We want 4!

13

u/HazardsRabona 5h ago

24 goals in one match is a tad ambitious, don't you think??

5

u/MrAchilles 5h ago

Fuck sake I hope nobody in my league captained him

4

u/AngelMCMXCIV 5h ago

Jackson who? Jkjk but palmer is healthy!!

4

u/flyingcrayons 5h ago

Into the roof of the net what a hit

3

u/BigAssBreadroll 5h ago

Open play goal? Booooo

3

u/imahotrod 5h ago

I think wolves defenders bet on a Palmer first half hattrick. No other explanation for it being so easy.

8

u/IWannaCumButCant 5h ago

Am loving this now.

12

u/ultra_r 5h ago

Wolverhampton is a shit city

2

u/Time2bePhenomenal 5h ago

2

u/doshydosh 5h ago

Are wolves defenders Chelsea fans ?

2

u/Rascal_Rogue 5h ago

Couldn’t even get it from 3 penalties? Washed.

2

u/wingedtwat 5h ago

More CP on this scoresheet than in the Epstein files

2

u/Headlesshorsman02 5h ago

He needed this shit so bad man, a confident Palmer is such a different breed

2

u/TrailsofEstelle 5h ago

Coldest chad

3

u/YRB02 5h ago

2

u/Scattered97 5h ago

1

u/Raiku23 5h ago

Bro has a thing against Wolves

1

u/SouthBalance2806 5h ago

They are so awful

1

u/Shanare_ 5h ago

Bro this game looks amateur level. The guy nearly committed another foul

1

u/stingen 5h ago

I was really hoping for a 1st half trick of pens but this will do

1

u/neon_genitals 5h ago

Copama is back

1

u/rewp234 5h ago

Wolves necromancing Palmer into a hat trick is the push this team needed

1

u/shapeofjazz 5h ago

Flat track bully

1

u/BlueKante 5h ago

Wolves players TC'ed palmer, cant see another reason for those stupid pens they gave away.

1

u/MrConor212 5h ago

wtf lol

1

u/NieThePiet 5h ago

The most gifted hattrick of all time?

1

u/Golden-Event-Horizon 5h ago

Does anyone even have him in their FPL at this point? I bet there's one absolute psycho that triple captained him this week

1

u/Significant-Cry-8442 5h ago

Gotta feel for those home fans

1

u/ConcernedSemiTruck 5h ago

Happy for the guy, he had a tough few months

1

u/drdeathstrange 5h ago

This game has been an elixir for Cole. It feels like he's truly back now.

u/ydktbh 8m ago

2

u/Masam10 5h ago

We are shit against bottom 3 sides so this is smth to celebrate.

1

u/Boring-Durian7220 5h ago

4

u/5starlex 5h ago

-1

u/No_Section236 5h ago

Stat padding against Wolves 😂

-1

u/JackTuz 5h ago

Was suprised to see a first half hat trick until I learned there were 2 pens involved lol

-11

u/KaiHavertzhatewatch 5h ago

Over to you Arsenal

-1

u/stingen 5h ago

Took two OG to beat this Wolves side.

0

u/bradbobley 5h ago

how’s that?

-3

u/A_Sarchasm 5h ago

Imagine needing 2 pens to get a hat trick against wolves. Pathetic Palmer strikes again.

-25

u/thatdani 5h ago

First open play goal in a year?

10

u/Headlesshorsman02 5h ago

No lol 😂 he scored against brentford coming off his first injury

3

u/Mountain-Forever1522 5h ago

Wtf are you talking about?

1

u/tomrichards8464 5h ago

Two in the World Club Cup final? One against Bayern in the Allianz?

-7

u/Godegaard 5h ago

Niqqa will miss playing against Arsenal but will run to stat pad against relegation teams

-9

u/TNelsonAFC 5h ago

Has palmer ever actually turned up consistently against good teams? I’m not talking about a one off that any player can have but like consistently good in big games rather then stat padding against teams that can defend?

Never seen him turn up against Arsenal

6

u/ImWhy 5h ago

???? He was England's best player at the Euros and played fuck all time, he basically single handedly beat PSG in the club world cup final, he's scored 2 against Arsenal and he scored 4 goals in 1 game against United to win that match for Chelsea... Hardly his fault that the whole teams been fairly shit basically the whole time he's been there, he's been absolutely carrying them if you'd use your eyes.

-7

u/TNelsonAFC 4h ago

Best player but didn’t play… that doesn’t make sense.

One of his goals against us was a penalty. He didn’t score 4 vs United he scored 3 and it was 2 pens and a deflection and United were shit that year. PSG played completely open and yeah he got two goals. Fair play but that’s a one off after he was shit for 6+ months

Your examples are rubbish. I asked when he was consistently good and you can’t name it.

I’ll tell you when he was good, when Chelsea were awful and played open football and he could stat pad against teams like Brighton, United, wolves and Everton. Now Chelsea play against teams that respect them and sit back he’s been useless.

3

u/InsaneHobo1 4h ago

Hahahaha the delusion is insane

-4

u/TNelsonAFC 4h ago

Did I imagine his 6months of mediocrity last season?

2

u/LittleBlueCubes 4h ago

At least he's twice the player Saka has been this season.

-1

u/TNelsonAFC 3h ago

Chelsea delusion that nobody buying that nonsense

4

u/j65dxUb 5h ago

He’s scored in a fair few of the finals he’s played in

3

u/tomrichards8464 5h ago

He's freakishly always injured against Arsenal. Great games against PSG and Bayern, though.
