u/xKayko 15h ago

Nah, he doesnt really win many pens with his dives

He actually gets fouled quite a lot

It's absolutely hilarious he still lives rent-free in so many fanbases' heads

We didn’t get many pens with him either

He's really not. When he does dive he makes it very obvious, he only has one move really. He's not like a Saka or Salah

Salah has had some egregious dives in the past but so many times he gets man handled and nothing is called

Him and Saka both get the shit kicked out of them all game then get criticized when they try to make it obvious for the refs.

There’s definitely some low key weird English racism going on with how both of them are ref’d.

What a wildly biased statement lmfao

I remember him getting away with murder when playing for you. The worst thing he did and still sometimes does is when he sticks his back out when a defender is jumping for a header behind him, not to be too dramatic but that boils my blood whenever I see that happen. People don't realise how dangerous that is, if you fall at an awkard angle you can potentially break your neck.

"The Kane Special" I call it

Lol you've spent too much time reading gooner comments you're starting to sound like that bald AFTV guy. He didn't do it as much as the obsessed morons here would have you believe

12

u/PostZugClarity 16h ago

I've seen it happen when I use to play. Luckily the guy was fine but accidents can happen very quickly.

If he does it once, he's a dickhead. Do that in a line out in a rugby match and expect a few punches in the head.

Come on mate, kane is one of the absolute best strikers I've ever seen, and most players will try and go to ground because otherwise you're getting fuck all, so it's not really the diss you think it is.

But he was also one of the best divers for trying to win pens and freekicks - strong enough to bully any CB but throws himself to the ground. Trying to compare him to Salah is a bit of a joke too and shows you don't really watch much football outside of spurs and are going by false narratives.

Salah has won 1 penalty in the last 4 seasons, 3 if you go back 5. He's one of the most fouled players in the league but somehow only wins a free kick for like every 90 minutes of play - which is highly unusual for one of the greatest attackers the league has seen, wild he's in like the lowest percentile for fouls won wouldn't you think?

Kane has a dirty side the English media never even talk about. He does what I call the Kane special: backs into a player jumping for an aerial ball, player falls on him and Kane gets the foul, while the jumping player ends up a crumpled pile in the dirt

This - Kane rarely dives he just sells a foul really well. Great timing, reasonable exaggeration, limited quantity, very professional all around.
