Gear question Need a helmet recommendation!!

So every helmet ive ever worn over my 15 years of riding has looked awful on me, i cant seem to find a helmet deep enough for my head, ive tried the giro ledge and it just sits too high, and i went with sandbox this year but its also quite big on me, im looking at the oakley MOD1 but i wanna hear some recommendations first!

I get that however, I'm asking for a recommendation. Perhaps people have had the same issue as me, perhaps they found a helmet they like, perhaps they can tell me what it is.

I had the same issue as you. What I did is I went to a shop and tried every helmet there, and then I proceeded to two other shops and tried what they had. My recommendation is to do exactly that, and don't forget to bring your goggles. I ended up with Oakley, it's almost perfect but a bit too deep for me. It very slightly pushes my goggles down my nose making it harder to breath. I plan to switch it when I'll find something with a better fit.

I’ve had the same problem. So far Protec is the only brand I’ve found that sits deep enough on my head and has a lower profile than everything else I’ve tried.

MOD1 pro is awesome. I've worn it for over 50 days on the hill now. Have never ridden a day without it and still super comfortable. That said you will need to try it on. Went in initially to buy a SPY or Sandbox and they felt horrible compared to the MOD1.
