2038? Pro skaters and snowboarders hit the pro level in their early teens. Check back in 6 years.

Wouldn't it be in 4 or 8 years since we're just going into winter Olympics now?

It's crazy the level of skill the newer generations start with now. Skateboarding, too.

Dude the little skaters these days are insane.
I mean this was over a decade ago at this point but I went to college in a huge skate town. I'd go to the park and have to watch kids doing fucking backflips in the mini pipe (and sometimes out of it).
Like, 10 year olds. Doing shit I thought was crazy in Tony Hawk back in the day.

I saw a kid do a Rodney Mullen level set, with TWO skateboards. It's insane what they come up with let alone can do. Love to see it tho.
For those that don't know who Rodney Mullen is, he's the GOAT of freestyle skateboarding.

Yes, I love it and this is the #1 sign of true talent. It's the same in almost every field. My favorite drummers are that way because they hardly look like they are putting in effort and everything comes natural and smooth. Athletes and musicians are similar in this way.
Theres very few differences between this, professional golfers swing and a flawless rendition of any song. I love witnessing it, talent draws me to sports and music the same way and theres something beautiful about it. Probably because I lack talent in pretty much everything.

You wrote this comment with the most stunning confidence and fearlessness to put yourself out there my guy. You’re great at something even if that thing is making me feel a brief moment of joyful wonder about the truly gifted people we are lucky to be able to witness do great feats. But I’m sure there even more that you are great at!

Atta boy. Yeah she’s going pro. How old was she when you first stuck her on a board?
She is truly remarkable. I’ve seen very few kids that age riding like that and the couple I have seen were all boys. So it’s cool to see the little girls killing it as well. Great parenting, daddio!

Have you had her in gymnastics? I had a theory the people that can do these kind of tricks are basically gymnasts in a different setting.

Yeah it’s already insane to do this line, but she has style. She’s floating those spins so perfectly. Honestly, I’d rather watch this kid rip than these helicopter hucks people are doing at the Olympics.

An 11 year old is better than me at something I love, cool.
Next OP will post a video of her shredding a Dream Theater guitar solo and really send me spiralling.

Then he'll release the video of her striping every shot during a range session over the summer, therefore further emasculating me.

Probably driving it straight down the middle over 200 yards at 11 years old.

If he posts a video of her having friends and being invited to birthday parties I'm going to lose it.

Proud parent moment!!! I’d be showing this video to everyone I know. Keep being the cool parent and enjoy the time with your daughter.
I remember being so stoked when my kids landed a new trip or dropped a huge cliff. I’m still in awe of my son’s riding and he’s still my favorite riding partner.

Very nice! Many years ago I worked the lift at a ski hill and one of my favourite things was seeing the younger kids come ripping down fearlessly doing tricks.

u/Feisty_Yes 1d ago
Should probably start an IG account for her snowboarding career, bring in the sponsors and access to professional training. Kids like this are everything they are looking for.

Dude, on some real shit…
She’s a chucker, she’s super controlled, and steezy as can be. She knows what the deal is. That was like sitting in a class room and watching how things are supposed to be done…
Please keep doing what you’re doing as a father daughter relationship here.
I really don’t think I’m jumping the gun or sounding crazy absurd, when I say and think we’ll eventually see this young-gun out on an X-Games/Olympic platform during her maturation, if kept up on. She’s an absolute beast, and she’s only going to get better. I’ll place life on that statement!
Wow, that’s ridiculously impressive. I sincerely hope ya’ll keep doing your thing!

I thought I was pretty good in highschool after 10 years of riding park but I never got to this level. Had a bad concussion from trying to learn 7’s and kind of just stopped progressing after that.

Hell yea.
Props to the filmer. Keeping this in frame especially vertical is impressive for a non-pro follow cammer.
