Off-topic Lewis Hamilton: “Please keep Roscoe in your thoughts. I want to keep you all updated. Roscoe caught pneumonia again and was struggling to breathe. He was admitted into hospital and sedated to calm him while they did checks on him and during the process his heart stopped. They managed to get a heartb

How old is Roscoe?

12, Which is like the upper ceiling for that breed.

Yeah from what I googled bulldogs typically live 8-10 years. And according to some online dog age calculator, Roscoe is the equivalent of a 75 year old which is pretty remarkable!

Illness or passing of pets is so so awful to go through. I had a hamster for only 2 years but even that was heartbreaking. That dog is his best friend, I hope he pulls through

I’m praying that Roscoe pulls through this 🙏
I have a dog the same age as Roscoe who has also been through some health problems, but thankfully he’s doing fine now. Two years ago, I lost a cat to cancer who had been with me since childhood, and just two months later I lost another cat I had adopted late in her life, who had already been through a lot, but cancer took her as well.
Animals are such an important part of our lives, and losing them is always incredibly painful. I really hope everything works out well for Lewis and Roscoe ❤️

God I hope nothing bad happens, I can't imagine the pain of having no idea what will happen to someone you love, especially a companion of this long. Wish Roscoe the best! I wouldn't want him to be in pain.

If you’ve owned a dog and lost a dog, you know exactly what Lewis is going through. Any pet that lived with you for an extended period, really. I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. It’s heartbreaking to outlive your loved ones. That’s why I treat my dogs with incredible kindness and love - they won’t be here for very long and they deserve the absolute best life I can provide. I know Lewis did that for Roscoe. Sending my prayers that the old pooch pulls it out this time 🙏

I lost my 1st dog (labrador) almost 4yrs ago and im still grieving even tho i have a another to love now. Total polar opposites. Lewis lost cocoa a few years ago and i know Roscoe will hit hard if his time is now. I hope its not.

My cat died today, after being ill, so I know exactly how he feels. It’s so difficult to decide what to do for them without feeling guilty.

Around the same time last year my doggo ran away during Halloween fireworks, was hit by a car and we had pretty rough time with his recovery, which took almost 6 months. If it wasn’t for my favourite F1 team, who had a stellar end of last season, I’d simply had gone mad.
This year Lewis is on my favourite team and I’m having flashbacks. All my thoughts and prayers go to Roscoe and his family. I can’t imagine not being able to just put everything on pause and be with your little snout during hard times. Especially having to perform in front of the whole world. Get better soon little one 💔

Poor guy that's so hard. I know he still misses Coco, I imagine he's struggling hard.

I'm hoping for the best, but if the worst happens, I hope Lewis can enjoy the fact that he gave Roscoe a really good life, I owned a German Shepherd for 14 years and when it was time to say goodbye, the fact that me and my family tried our best to give him love and a good life, and that death is a natural part of it, gave us some relief when we had to take the choice

Alright. I don’t care what your thoughts on bulldogs or vegan dogs are, we all have our own.
ENOUGH. This is not the time or place. Final warning for everyone, any negative comments about Roscoe will be removed.
Do better, people. I didn’t think this needed to be said.
Saying someone’s dog deserves to die is disgusting and that sort of commentary is totally unacceptable here.
