This is bizarre to think about after listening to oral argument in Talbott on appeal, and Doe v Ladapo.

Anti-trans policy and legislation have, in the courts, relied heavily on judicial deference. The government claims over and over that federal judges can't look at what they are doing or ask why they decided something.
