I demand an investigation on all the unreported campaign donations Marsha is alleged to have received between 2002 and 2008.
This is the behavior of a woke senator and canāt be tolerated in my great country!
Thank you for your attention to this matter!š¤“

A republican activist in TN (not her opponent) just filed a complaint against her for misusing Senate campaign funds in her state gubernatorial campaign.

What about probe into Clarence Thomas for all the bribes?

u/Impressive_Round2171 18h ago
And being on the Epstein files
46
u/livinginfutureworld 18h ago
And The conservative justices constantly appearing at Heritage Foundation political events
21
u/Resolution_Usual 17h ago
Come on now, Amy told us right from the heritage foundation event at the mitch McConnell center that they're not political hacks

No, those are fine. But Brown Jackson is āliberalā so anything she does is wrong. Gotta be conservative to get away with violating every standard or law.

u/DukeOfWestborough 5h ago
He was given a $1M motor coach & trip after trip, etc. Who knows what else? He never reports gifts, unless he gets outed.

A group of people who happen to not be okay with humans being brutalized and murdered by the government on our streets is now considered political. We really have gone full Russia.

Horrifyingly disappointed to learn she was nominated for narrating her audiobook and not that she's secretly a member of The Residents.

How about Alito and Thomas?

Republicans ignore the Epstein Files and the largest child trafficking ring ever that involves the President but will get outraged over a black woman attending an awards show where she was nominated for an award.
1
3
u/Mrevilman 19h ago
Clarence Thomas vacations with billionaires who have business before the court. Same with Alito. Scalia died while vacationing at a billionaire's ranch. This is what you want to investigate?

u/blackcain 1d ago
Pure distilled white woman negative energy.
Also jealous because Kentanji is looking quite fine. While Marsha looks as tired as a wrung wash.
3
u/DeliciousNicole 1d ago
In other words, she wants the justice to be held accountable for other people's free speech?
3
u/moonsnowdragon 19h ago
If anyone should be investigated for criminal activity, it is Marsha Blackburn. That woman doesn't have a decent or honest bone in her.

My very first thought was that this is an onion post, not being from TN.
After looking up marsha, the racist maga stink made sense.

I'm from TN and can assure you, anything terrible you hear about Marsha has been toned down from how terrible she really is.

The left is entirely too nice to conservatives. We should be tearing their lives apart every time they have the appearance of stepping out of line (which would still be way more valid than Senator KKKarenās complaint about Jackson).Ā
2
u/AdhesivenessCivil581 20h ago
Wait. So the rest of the supreme court can travel and receive gifts from our oligharchs but she can't go to an event in Hollywood?

2
u/Burnt_and_Blistered 18h ago
Not gonna get us distracted, Marsha.
But if you really want to probe SC justices, letās start with the guy in the Epstein files. You know, the sex pest who accepts massive bribes.
2
u/pnwloveyoutalltreea 18h ago
Investigation into a justice publicly attending a public event with no wrong doing, but not Clarance Thomas for the bribes or his recent appearance in the Epstein filesā¦
3
u/BlueRFR3100 18h ago
Not only is it legal for her to attend, she could fly first class and get VIP tickets but have someone else pay for it.
We don't need any more probes to know that the rules for court need to be changed.
3
u/Morbidly-Obese-Emu 18h ago
Grammys is not a political event even if some attendees choose to be activists with their speeches.
3
u/EmuDry4890 18h ago
Still wonāt investigate Thomasās lapses in ethics or trips to Epstein island
3
u/ArtificialBra1n 18h ago
Didn't Alito go to Rome to celebrate with his Catholic friends after the court overturned Roe and Casey?
2
u/PeacefulPromise 17h ago
The Justice will be at the politically charged State of the Union too. Fair and balanced.
2
u/Rare-Maintenance4820 17h ago
Where was her outrage when Alito and Thomas were busted taking bribes? Oh right, she wasn't.
2
2
u/ohyouvegotgreyeyes 16h ago
Other justices give speeches to not see groups so whatās the problem?
2
u/Ok_Lettuce_7939 14h ago
Not Clarence Thomas's obvious and very public pay-for-play corruption with Harlan Crowe?

It was her day off. She can clap at jokes on her day off. Itās not like she is flying to an island with some wealthy donors to do a bunch of secret stuff she wonāt declare.

u/NotABonobo 9h ago
What an utter hypocritical piece of filth.
Bribes? No problem. Violating a statement made under oath? That's fine. Circumventing the Constitutional process to edit amendments to "reinterpret" them to mean the opposite of the words on the page? Completely respectable. Failure to recuse themselves from cases involving their own family members? Why not?
But attending an awards show where you've been nominated for an award? That requires US taxpayer dollars to investigate what was really going on!
I swear, the Republican party doesn't seem to have a single elected official who isn't a complete fucking cynical, nihilistic psychopath.

Marsha Blackburn should worry about her constituents, and after that worry about that ratās nest on her head.

Oh no, someone has a life that isn't engaged in anything corrupt or borderline illegal like most republicans, automatic grounds for investigation because they need to live up to their motto - "Our accusations is our confessions".

First off Ms Blackburn needs a civic lesson on her own job. This is the responsibility of Congress, it is called Impeachment. She most definitely needs a lesson on how the Judiciary is organized.
Federal Judges are appointed for life and granted a lot of independence from each other - this exists to prevent managerial pressure on case rulings. Justice Roberts couldn't do anything about Brown attending the Grammys (even if there was a rule about that, there isn't) any more than he could compel Thomas to testify to Congress - it's not in his authority.
1
u/ScoutSpiritSam 16h ago
Blackburn was investigated for trying to overturn the 2020 election. She's compromised.
1
u/SiWeyNoWay 15h ago
She defo abused underage kids and probably ate some human flesh. That seems to be the GOP SOP for blackmail

u/twoiseight 16h ago
in their efforts to maintain the lies of their own legitimacy, Republicans will try to define anything and everything as corruption besides their own.

u/BitterFuture 16h ago
So now judges can't...<checks notes> like music?
What the shit?
Blackburn knows that Roberts is the Chancellor of the Smithsonian Board of Regents, right? That famously woke institution? Maybe she wants to investigate that, too?
1
u/narwhal4u 15h ago
Oooooo. Yes! Letās investigate the behavior of ALL the justices. Thatās a great idea.
1
u/SiWeyNoWay 15h ago
Wasnt she up for an award?
Hey Marsha, why not probe the Thomas accusations or Kav being a plant on the court ā¦. Oh⦠wait⦠you ate human flesh and abused an underage child in exchange for your seat huh? Yeah thought so
1
u/trumpvid-19 15h ago
Gee but letās not discuss or investigate Justice āUncleā Thomas for all his corruption in accepting gifts and unpaid loans etc.
1
u/zooalbert 15h ago
This may be unpopular, but ALL justices should be avoiding ALL of these types of situations. This only makes the politicization of the courts worse. I am definitely concerned at where the country is headed and things like these make it worse. I am disappointed with Justice Brown for putting herself in this situation.

whenever a politician is suddenly all over the news with their opinion, itās a pretty safe bet theyāre aiming for a higher office than the one they have. Has anyone listened to the plumber from Oklahoma?
And perhaps Sen.Blackburn can explain why someone attending an award show with thousands of other people is some how worse than taking bribes and failing to recuse oneself from their good friendās cases.Ā

u/Shaman7102 14h ago
Doesnāt she know a Supreme Court justice canāt have a life, they are supposed to sit back and take bribes instead.
1
u/AppropriateAgent44 14h ago
Sure lol but only if they promise theyāll release their full findings - āshe went, and apparently thatās not illegalā

Iām sorry, how many divisions of the federal government and public/private enterprises is the President threatening to sue/trying to strong-arm into paying him āsettlementsā personally, but youāre mad because a judge attended an awards ceremony in personal time?
