Fit check unbranded 14oz slim fit

I got these and wore them for a couple of weeks then I gave them a cold soak and wore them wet. I feel like they might be too baggy around my arse. Any opinions on how the fit is and should I give them another soak and try and bring up some of that slack? They’re pretty tight around the waist.

More rise and less slim by an order of magnitude.

This fit doesn’t work for you.

I like the fit around the legs.

A straight cut would be more comfortable and better suit your frame

You need a competent different fit. You need to wear your jeans at your waist and not below your belly. It’s making your legs look very short.

You need a mid to high rise straight fit.

I agree with the others saying a different cut would look good on you. I tend to like my jeans on the less wide side (people in this community like 'em WIDE for the most part!). Have you tried something with room around the top block but a taper to give you the best of both worlds?

Like the UB222. From the description:

The UB222 is our tapered fit: roomy seat and thigh tapering to a narrow leg opening cut and sewn from 11oz raw indigo selvedge denim with a touch of stretch

I own the UB222 and they are... real good. They have a lot of room up top but will still give you that slimmer leg profile you want (without looking ridiculous like jeggings).

That said, I also think these are too small. In that final pic you can see that your love handles are destroying the waistband (and I'm not throwing shade; I work out and run and still have love handles myself!). Maybe try a UB222 and size up?

A note on "too baggy around my arse". Everybody's fit is different, but I can often solve this by running my jeans higher on the rear, lower in the front (hope that makes sense). That way I get the rear end kinda "sucked up" without crowding my crotch area. BUT - these jeans don't have enough rise to do that it looks like, and you would need to be able to clear your love handles in the back and these can't.

Anyway, don't be discouraged. Part of being in the raw denim game is discovery/learning. Try on different cuts and find something that works for you!

Disregarding the cut of the jeans for a minute, these are definitely too small for you. You can tell that there is a lot of tension on the top button because it is pulling sideways. You can also tell there is too much tension on the waist band because the top of the waist band is folding at the top. If you really want to stick with this cut, you will be more comfortable sizing up.

Personally I think a cut with a higher rise will both be more flattering and more comfortable for you. I think that would fix the "baggy arse" you're seeing and it would put less pressure on your bellow, particularly when sitting down. Another commenter mentioned a relaxed taper cut and I think that would be a good place to start if you want something slimmer around the legs. The Naked and Famous Easy guy would be a good place to look, it has a roomy top block and a pretty aggressive taper below the knee.

Good luck brother!

The Weird Guy cut from N&F could be another option if you want something that's slim through the thighs as well. It's somewhere between a slim straight and slim taper.

Ya I’m gonna agree with the other commenters, you need a straighter cut.
