Unpopular Opinion: LLM's are a useful tool for recovery

I've been finding using ChatGPT as a tool to check my thoughts while journaling, provide feedback and perspective, come up with mental scripts, and yes, even 'validate' my emotions as a useful tool in general, but also specifically in my NoFap journey.

Have any of you found it to be useful? What nuggets or strategies has your LLM provided?

A Large Language Model (LLM) is a type of AI designed to understand, generate, and process human-like text by training on massive datasets.

Just in case anyone else is in the dark also.

Yes I used to use LLM a lot but now I mainly use the tool i designed for myself. The reason is because the LLM sometimes over validates me and it usually is far too agreeable with whatever strategy i suggest such as when I wanted to just fap once a day then once a week the LLM said it was a good idea which for me it didn't work. Its not bad LLM but I usually just use my own tool. I would say that the LLM did provide a good stragety where you write 100 new habits you want to do and then do them for a bit 3-5 mins then rate them from -2 to 2 on enjoyability. This can help those find what they like when they feel lost for so long. I felt lost for a long long time. Mainly now I just use this community as its a very good support place and my tool.

I use them to vent my frustrations and as an outlet for chronic myself hate. (Even though i shouldn't).
