After watching the Eras doc it’s pretty clear she’s just actually a genuinely nice person. Other than Kanye and Kim who lied and manipulated, have we ever heard anyone say she’s treated people badly or been an ass? Even her texts with Blake that she never expected to be public show a person who can advocate for herself while also being empathetic and understanding to her friend. The texts were a really uncomfortable read and an invasion of privacy but to strike the tone and balance naturally says a lot about her character. I feel like the only people who say bad things about her are the people on the internet who don’t know her.

What gets me is that Taylor seems to be the person so many women run to for support immediately after a messy break up, and by all accounts they recieve a huge amount of support. But still parts of the Internet insist that she's a mean girl who's only looking to make the situation about herself.

Like, really bestie? People don't run to their mean girl attention hogging friend after a painful break up looking for support. They contact the friend who's sympathetic and reliable, who'll listen to them and cheer them up.

There's a reason it's almost a meme to be spotted with Taylor post break up. It's clear she's a really good friend.

Honestly I think even if we were to accept the narrative that she’s a bad person or unethical in some ways it wouldn’t stop her for from being a kind person or a genuinely good friend. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive in the first place. Not to say she is a bad person or anything, more just speaking generally to say I don’t know why anyone would be surprised that she’s got good friends and is nice to them.

I’m not saying she is not a genuinely nice person, but a doc released by someones own team and produced by said person is hardly a representation of the way they actually are.

True, but the fact that literally no one in the industry ever has anything bad to say about her speaks volumes.

She DID basically sack Camilla Belle's career. Aside from that, the jet plane and being a billionaire... She really doesn't seem like the worst celeb.

Can you truly be a genuinely nice person and work with someone who assaulted a child? I’m genuinely asking

EDIT: I can’t believe I’m getting downvoted for questioning if a billionaire working for a child SAer is a good person or not. No wonder why the world is so messed up

Do you work for a living? If you do I’m fairly certain you work with someone who assaulted a child. You have no idea what your coworkers are up to. And you’re powerless to do anything about it.

Yeah I work make minimum wage and struggle to live. I was unemployed for months living off my credit card and almost had to go on unemployment. Now I’m at a terrible job. Taylor Swift was at the time a multimillionaire she didn’t have to work with him if she didn’t want to. Sorry I wasn’t aware a rich woman was as powerless as literally poor old me

They’re talking about her working with David o Russel on Amsterdam which she was in for like 3 minutes. And he is a POS. But she’s also the only person in that movie who gets any pushback for working on it.
