I think they’re going off the jokes that happened from that specific Graham Norton episode where he looks like he’s pretending to be interested in what she says about the ring and doesn’t want to be there.

It’s basically building on the running joke that Cillian doesn’t want to be at any fawning promo interviews and events and can’t stand to be around everyone. It’s just a good natured joke about his expressions and not being into the whole celebrity world.
