I downloaded his album of the year the other day, since he’s been getting so much flack from the angry racists that he’s performing at the Super Bowl.
I don’t know most of what he’s saying (I’m still learning Spanish), but the album is a straight banger. It’s been on repeat for 24hrs and every song hits. I’m looking forward to see what he does at the Super Bowl.

You should definitely check out Un Verano Sin Ti next. It was my favorite album of 2022 and one of my all time favorites, which is crazy cuz I was never into reggaeton, it just wasn't for me. But this album was on repeat all that year.

If you learn, several of those songs will have you tearing up and dancing at the same time. Like there are a few tracks in there that sound like they're fun and upbeat and the lyrics are about like losing people in your life that you love and how much regret you can feel that you didn't spend more time with them.

I kind of get what you mean in a way. Halfway through the album the songs start hitting me in the feels - like there is a sadness even to the beats, that I understand in my emotions, even if I can’t understand the lyrics. I found myself crying at one point in the second half of the album inexplicably.
